Ethiopia has helped many countries in their struggle for independence; even Nelson Mandela came to Ethiopia for training and was amazed to see Ethiopian pilots. Ethiopia has sent its troops to support its African brothers in times of need. Other African countries adopted the Ethiopian flag colors (green, yellow, and red) for inspiration. Later, in the African Union organization,(AUO) Ethiopia was there among other nations, and Emperor Haile Selassie is considered a founding father of the AUO. Seeing its contribution, the African Union decided to make Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, its headquarters. not to forget we have our own calendar , phonetic .most of all we believe in one Africa I have listed just a few examples. This is not to brag, but to ensure that the truth is told.
There is a Greece Professor writing a book saying "it is the ancient Ethiopians Who built the pyramid in Egypt during the Empire of Abyssinia where Ethiopia covers the part of north eastern Africa in the north to Yemen in the east". the way it is built is similar to rock hewn churches and monuments found in the current north Ethiopia. also the First Egyptian king is also Ethiopian. in other way the kings who are buried under those pyramids are Ancient Ethiopian kings. It is all happened when the land of Egypt is under black people (Ethiopians) before the white arabs came and dominate the land to create the present day Egypt.

Thanks for sharing this perspective! Ethiopia has indeed made incredible contributions to African unity and independence, from never being colonized to playing a key role in forming the African Union. Egypt also has a rich history of Pan-Africanism and has supported the continent in many ways. Both countries have unique and important roles in shaping Africa's political landscape. Very educated people. I'm Ethiopian. I don't blame you guys because there is nothing written about Ethiopia as a history standard, and Africans. We Africans should know more about our culture and history and write more.
No my dear we have our own histry written in our oun Geez letters, where all of the rest of Africans can not understand. It is our duty, we Ethiopians to translate this in the language they can undetstand. Moreover it is the west who taught us about Egypt not the Egyptians. The egyptians care about the Arebs than us africans. I wish these Ugandan universty students knew about this.
Ethiopia has a rich and remarkable history in Africa, and countries like Egypt, Nigeria, Uganda, Kenya, and many others also have their own significant histories. However, as an Ethiopian, I want to highlight that Ethiopia has many untold historical facts, particularly in the areas of religion, science, architecture, astronomy, literature, and more. For instance, in terms of religion, the Ethiopian Orthodox Church is considered the oldest church in the world. We possess many ancient scriptures and chronicles regarding Christianity, including one of the oldest known versions of the Bible. In Islam, we have Masjid An-Najāšī (مَسْجِد ٱلنَّجَاشِي), which was established around 615 CE, when the first Muslims are said to have migrated to Abyssinia during the reign of the Najashi. This makes Ethiopia one of the oldest countries to embrace Islam, predating many other African nations.Ancient Ethiopia made fascinating contributions to astronomy. The Great Andromeda Galaxy (M31) is named after the constellation Andromeda, who, in Greek mythology, is a princess of Ethiopia. Additionally, the stars Cepheus and Cassiopeia are named after the ancient Ethiopian king and queen. In literature, Ethiopia is a unique and the only country in Africa for having its own alphabet, letters, and numbers. It also follows a distinct calendar, including a 13th month for leftover dates. These highlights reflect a small part of ancient Ethiopian history. Finally ,i want to thank my Ugandan UA-camr brother for creating this video, as it's essential for Africans to understand each other's historical backgrounds to foster development and unity. I hope all African countries can one day be civilized, developed, and peaceful. Much love for Africa! From 🇪🇹❤️

My fellow African brothers and sisters, let me tell you one truth. The Pyramids that Egyptians are proud of, were built by ancient Ethiopians. Ethiopians were governing up to the Middle East.
I’m from Ethiopia. I mentioned Egypt because the name 'Ethiopia' has a long history that predates what we know today. It originally referred to a vast region in Africa. The name was used for this area long before the modern understanding of it." 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Ethiopia’s early history dates back to prehistoric times, with early civilizations some like D'mt, later the Aksumite Empire. The Aksumite Empire (100 AD onwards) was known for its powerful trade, monumental obelisks (tombs), and the adoption of Christianity. Lalibela, built in the 12th century, is famous for its rock-hewn churches, a symbol of Ethiopia’s deep Christian roots.
Thanks for sharing this insightful information! Ethiopia’s early history and the significance of the Aksumite Empire and Lalibela truly highlight its rich cultural heritage. The country’s deep Christian roots and monumental architecture are fascinating aspects of its history!

Ethiopia and Egypt are two of the most historically rich countries in Africa ,but Ethiopia is the most historicall country in Africa. Not only that in the world. I would choose Ethiopia as the most historically rich country in Africa due to its unique and continuous heritage. Ethiopia's ancient civilizations, such as the Aksumite Empire, its deep religious significance as one of the earliest Christian nations, and its ability to resist colonization make it stand out. Additionally, its history extends beyond political and religious contributions to being a key site for human evolution, with fossils like "Lucy" providing evidence of some of the earliest human ancestors.
Absolutely! Ethiopia's rich history and unique heritage truly make it a standout in Africa and the world. From the Aksumite Empire to its role in early Christianity and its significance in human evolution, there’s so much to appreciate and learn about this incredible country!
The first contact between Egyptians and Ethiopians dates back nearly seven thousand years ago when the ancient Egyptians launched their earliest recorded expedition to the Land of Punt under Sahure of the Fifth Dynasty although Punt gold dates back to even earlier times during the rule of King Khufu of the Fourth Dynasty. Both are rich in history to the point almost impossible to pick one. Love from 🇪🇹.
Coffee was first discovered in Ethiopia, Aksum obelisk, Aksum civilization, the land of the Lucy, Sof Omar, the land of many wonders (such as Erta Alee volcano), the source of the Blue Nile, the Book of Enoch, Ras Tafarianism, one of the founders of African Cup of Nations, founder of the African Union, contribution to African struggle for Independence, being not colonialized it played a role model for the fight for the liberation of many African nations, won the Battle of Adwa (the only African country to win against a European power), according to Greece Legends (Andromeda - was an Ethiopian princess, the greatest of Greece heroes was Hercules (half Ethiopian), an Ethiopian king fought in the battle of Troy, Cassiopeia was an Ethiopian, etc.). Ethiopia decisively defeated Egypt at the battles of Gundet and Gura, in 1875 and 1876. Though Egypt, too, is equally rich in history, for me it is Ethiopia.
Absolutely! Ethiopia’s history is incredibly rich and diverse, from the origins of coffee to its significant contributions to African culture and independence. It’s amazing to see how deeply rooted and influential Ethiopia has been throughout history

Ethiopia was the first African country to be a member of the League of Nations in 1923. Seeing its contribution, the African Union decided to make Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, its headquarters. not to forget we have our own calendar , phonetic .most of all we believe in one Africa
I have listed just a few examples. This is not to brag, but to ensure that the truth is told.
Glad you took the time to share your thoughts! Thanks a lot!
Before the colonization the name of Africa had Ethiopia
There is a Greece Professor writing a book saying "it is the ancient Ethiopians Who built the pyramid in Egypt during the Empire of Abyssinia where Ethiopia covers the part of north eastern Africa in the north to Yemen in the east". the way it is built is similar to rock hewn churches and monuments found in the current north Ethiopia. also the First Egyptian king is also Ethiopian. in other way the kings who are buried under those pyramids are Ancient Ethiopian kings. It is all happened when the land of Egypt is under black people (Ethiopians) before the white arabs came and dominate the land to create the present day Egypt.
i am dying from laughter so we have sub-saharan west africans , african americans , somalis , eritreans and apparently ethiopians claiming they were the ancient egyptians. as an egyptian i am not even gonna argue with you because you are one of the many who are delusional and brainwashed out of desperation for having something to be proud of like the others who claim egypt so whatever floats your boat man yea sure man ancient egyptians were nigerians, ghanaians, ethiopians and whatever else you people like to believe but they were never egyptian and for some reason they only built pyramids in egypt and not in west and east africa i don't know why these people are so lazy weird
Ok, My brother....I am wit you ..... Power to the People.
Thank u❤❤❤❤❤❤
Also Ethiopia is represent black peoples
Hey can you tell me who that Greece professor is. I would like to read more of his work. Thank you
Wow, that’s a fascinating perspective! The connections between ancient Ethiopia and Egypt are truly intriguing. It’s amazing to think about the deep history and influence Ethiopia may have had. Thanks for sharing this!

How can Egypt be better than Ethiopia when Ethiopia gave birth to Egypt? An honest question!
ኢትዮጵያ is the mother of african independence. Ethiopia as the only uncolonised nation, stood firm with her brothers and sisters to ensure that the african people were free to deteremine their own destinty. So for all of us on the continet ኢትዮጵያ is our mother and as we all know እፍ the mother is not at peace neither can the family be at peace.

One guy is saying that Egypt has more pan Africanism than Ethiopia😩😩😩😩
Ethiopia is a country has never colonized
Ethiopia is the 1st African country to join League of Nation to fight for whole African
Ethiopia is a country which united the two African parties into one and established Organization of African Union back in 1960's during Emperor Haile Sellasie
Still now Addis Ababa is the political capital of Africa.
It’s great to acknowledge their impact!
Ethiopia all the way. The cradle of man kind, real pan Africanist old Egyptian are Ethiopians until Roman times

Very educated people. I'm Ethiopian. I don't blame you guys because there is nothing written about Ethiopia as a history standard, and Africans. We Africans should know more about our culture and history and write more.
Go to Arabs and ask to be and slaved.

My fellow African brothers and sisters, let me tell you one truth. The Pyramids that Egyptians are proud of, were built by ancient Ethiopians. Ethiopians were governing up to the Middle East.
For those who say that the Ethiopians built the pyramids in Egypt, why didn't they build other similar pyramids when they returned to Ethiopia?

I’m from Ethiopia. I mentioned Egypt because the name 'Ethiopia' has a long history that predates what we know today. It originally referred to a vast region in Africa. The name was used for this area long before the modern understanding of it."

ETHIOPIA ❤❤❤ THANKS 🙏
Egypt (KEMET) is the daughter of Ethiopia or the Nile River!

This question would be valid if the people living in Egypt today are actual descendants of historical Egyptians.

As I am Ethiopian, I am proud of my African brothers.
What about Lucy!
