    I'm surprised it's just some epoxy on the joints that keeps it together. I always Assumed it was more than that. Guess it's just super strong epoxy? Regardless, looks gorgeous!

    I am planning to install the waterfall island and countertop on top of my current tile then install vinyl all over my house on top of my current tile. Do you think it’s possible? Any advice on how to make the waterfall edge seamless after installing the vinyl around it?

    I have a question. I am purchasing a new home. The installer of the countertop cut the quartz countertop literally in half and glued it back together for whatever reason. Is this normal? The seam where the two areas were glued together can be clearly seen. The steps that the installer took is like cutting a ceramic plate in half and gluing it. The line never disappears and cannot buff out.

    Hi there. Awesome job and thanks for posting this video, really helps to learn the process. You reference “hard glue” for sticking the edge of the waterfall to the top piece. Can you tell me what the name of the product you used is please. Also the name of the adhesive you used on the side of the cabinets to glue the waterfall edge to.Thanks so much!

    Nice! So, they make quartz slabs long enough so that you don’t have any seams on the countertop of the waterfall island?

      @@stonemasterkevin The question was not dumb they were sincere but a wise guy had to chime in . Yeeesss they make the slabs that long all one piece!

    • @ayokay123
      @ayokay123 11 місяців тому +1

      Totally depend upon the length of the top you want. The usual max length is around 132", so if you subtract 36" of height for the side slabs, that leaves 96" for the countertop length and ONE side with a matching waterfall. The other side will not be a flowing match. That's if you want no visible top seams. Anything longer will require a top seam which can look good or bad depending upon the pattern.

    Not a waterfall , sounds like a salesman that is a drop leg on a island, real waterfalls are stone to stone and flow, usually a bar top or wall matching all the way thrue,
