    3 cups water
    2 cups flour
    1/2 cup semolina
    1-2tbsp baking powder
    2 tbsp sugar
    blend for 2-3mins and set aside for 15-20mins
    1 cup crushed walnuts
    3 tbsp raisins (optional)
    2 tbsp coconut flakes
    2 tbsp sugar
    1/2 tsp cinnamon
    2 tsp orange blossom water
    stuffing:
    1 cup cheese (akawi/mozzarella)
    1/2 tsp cinnamon

    Hello Nadia, As-salamu alaikum! fabulous video, very clear, great Lightning! May I know which flour did you use, what is the protein content? I imagine is an all purpose flour, but sometimes the brand of flour helps to get best results, Thank you!

    Can I freeze before frying? Can ot rest a few hours or days before frying?

      Yes, you can freeze before frying and it works very well. Leaving it few hours or days before frying is not recommended.

    But can we leave the semolina out, I'm in Nigeria and the semolina here is super soft

      Soft semolina will still work. You might want to reduce water a bit.

      Yes, you can bake them instead or serve them raw as mini Qatayef stuffed with cream and drizzled with either syrup or honey.

    It did not work for me!! I did the exact same ingredients when I started to heat the liquid dough it wasn’t turning like it did in the video 👎 it didn’t turn golden like she said it would
