My main problem with is the fact that there aren’t Ai companions who roam with you. Not only for fun and entertainment, but for story purposes. The knights literally interact with you through phone calls and emails. Other than that, they have no way of knowing what happened across the city/story unless you’re playing co op
I get what you mean. If your playing solo, only one of the characters is going through the narrative experience, but then it gets to the cutscene and they all act like they’ve just had their ass kicked by the court of owls - it’s slightly immersion breaking
i got the game about 3 days ago, and i already beat it. honestly having a lot of fun! i just kept a good fresh and open mind. the arkham games set the bar insanely high, a one of a kind franchise. i don’t believe we will ever get a franchise that feels and plays the way the arkham games did. as an enjoyer of batman and all of its games, i have accepted that this is the direction these games are heading, might as well just have fun with it. just my opinions
Honestly yeah, compared to suicide squad Gotham knights is peak, they treat Batman’s death with dignity, what we get of other hero’s is better then suicide squad, and hell even a better story

Gotham Knights is underrated. It’s not perfect by any means, but it’s difficult to follow up some of the greatest games of all time. 😂 As a big Batman fan, it was plenty of fun for me. I love these characters, and playing as them in a bleak world where Batman is gone was a lot of fun. It’s an 8-8.5 out of 10 for me personally. Could’ve been better with freeflow combat and a little more story or side missions. Also would like if the city had a little more to offer in free roam. Interiors to visit for Easter eggs, etc etc.
I thought this game was fantastic. As someone that's a fan of the dynamic between the robins I think everything was executed well. I got used to the frame rate thing pretty quick, and gotham city looks very nice in this version. More detail than what I was expecting and very fun to traverse.
It felt like a really watered down version of arkham games, and it felt like it's made for kids in their early teenage years. Overall game felt somewhat childish.
I didn't understand the problem people had with it. I love the game, They have done everything correct to choosing which character you play. The story was amazing and the side missions were Brilliant. Only thing i would change is the multiplayer. Its only 2 players but 4 characters so I would change it to a 4 player online multiplayer but over than that, An Amazing game hated on because it Isn't apart of the Arkham-Verse but it just shows that Rocksteady did a good job with the Arkham games. Overall: great game To play if your tired of Rocksteady batman 👍
Im curious what game isnt repetitive? People always say this about a game but ive never played a game that didnt become repetitive eventually. Thats never an issue with me.
The portal series comes to mind , but I know what your saying, taking the portals for example your just solving puzzles over and over again fair, but each puzzle is different and new elements keep getting added the second you get comfortable, so it's always changing and evolving, Gotham knights failed to do any of that, you fight the same enemies, the same way, the whole time, in the same place, I do see what your saying though
Personally having allot of fun with the game, sure your right about the repetitive combat but Gotham looks so beautiful, the suits look amazing the traversal is fun, and I honestly feel it needs a sequel, I haven’t beaten the game but I feel it’d be a good chance to expand the gameplay, the multiplayer and the characters and their abilities, like I LOVE how red hood uses his Lazarus abilities but he only get like two of them and it’s be really cool to see how they could expand on that
I'm really enjoying it. I keep switching characters every night as well to add variety as well. There's not one character I dislike. They all have their perks. But I would say Robin is my favourite due to his MASSIVE stealth perk.

For some reason on my PlayStation five, I haven’t been able to get past the first level with the crime scene. My PlayStation five just keeps crashing no matter what it’s been like this the whole year that this game has been out.
Honestly I didn’t care it was wasn’t like Arkham games what annoyed me is that you could tell it was meant to be live service and the whole item/ level part. I was loving it it was a 8/10 then I hit middle/ near end and everyone became sponges so it went down to 6.5
I think this games problem is that everyone wanted it to be an arkham game because "oh batman is dead, arkham knight." and while I am annoyed that the devs clearly wanted to draw that parallel, they did not have the ability to set up that kind of "unofficial sequel" if you go in just wanting to play one of the bat family instead of an arkham game, it is way more fun.
Honestly I hated the Arkham games because of the lack of customization and it was repetitive. But this game is awesome and love the customization. Plus I’m playing for basically free only paid a dollar🤷♀️ (Xbox game pass)
Good review. I've been playing on and off for a few months and the worst part about this game is that it's just so mediocre...even after all this time. Everything is just so unintuitive but works enough that you don't want to pull your hair out playing. The best way I've found to play it is having something else going on in the background like a podcast or something because everything is just so boring.
Great video. I'm going to give it a go. After hearing the negative reviews, I stayed well away, just like Batman & Robin until only 2 years ago. But now that it's on PS+ there's nothing to lose.
Is it worth it on PS5 even if it's 30fps? Does the framerates stick to 30 98% of the time? Does it still have issues since all updates have been released? Anyone know? It's on sale for 23.74€ for the Deluxe which normally is 94,99€
Well I didn't find any issues frame rate wise, it's close to a locked 30fps, I will say the longer you wait, the cheaper it will get I can definitely see going cheaper on Black Friday
It’s nothing special but I am enjoying it quite a bit. Not as good as Arkham Asylum, City, or Origins (No I don’t like Knight) but I’d put it on a level similar to Batman Begins but with an open world element
I actually really enjoy this game. Bc of all the negativity I didn’t buy it on release but I got added to gamepass and I tried it and I LOVE this game.
I bought this game last yr….BROSKI….I haven’t been able to get into the game….I did like 25% on hard…and just lost interest and the game ain’t even 4K…and that lgbtqlmnopxyz stuff they got in it just put me off from playing

This game is fun. Just play it. Don't let the opinions of others define you. It's not arkham so just get that out your head.
Pretty meh game honestly , can we get a souls like in batman format please ide play that so much
That would be pretty dope 👌 I'm a huge fan of Souls-like games. Would make for an interesting twist in the formula
BTW PlayStation players, it’s *FREE* for ps plus extra subscribers
Good review. I've been playing on and off for a few months and the worst part about this game is that it's just so mediocre...even after all this time. Everything is just so unintuitive but works enough that you don't want to pull your hair out playing. The best way I've found to play it is having something else going on in the background like a podcast or something because everything is just so boring.
It only has just a bit better version of combat however Marvel Avengers at least felt like a superhero game
It's on sale for 23.74€ for the Deluxe which normally is 94,99€
It might still be on PS Plus
@@Ewaii26 i don't have a subscription that's why i am asking
Well I didn't find any issues frame rate wise, it's close to a locked 30fps, I will say the longer you wait, the cheaper it will get I can definitely see going cheaper on Black Friday
@@Ewaii26 if it drops even below that amount say 10 or 15€ i might get it. We'll see. I decided it's not worth it yet.
I can confidently say is worth that 10-15
It’s nothing special but I am enjoying it quite a bit. Not as good as Arkham Asylum, City, or Origins (No I don’t like Knight) but I’d put it on a level similar to Batman Begins but with an open world element
I beat this game and new game plus in 2 weeks I just wish there was more after everything Is over. It's a great game it's just missing more game play
I actually really enjoy this game. Bc of all the negativity I didn’t buy it on release but I got added to gamepass and I tried it and I LOVE this game.
It’s on sale rn for $13.99 because of Black Friday $13.99? that’s a steal whether people want to except it or not
I bought this game last yr….BROSKI….I haven’t been able to get into the game….I did like 25% on hard…and just lost interest and the game ain’t even 4K…and that lgbtqlmnopxyz stuff they got in it just put me off from playing
Answer: Yes, Definitely. If you like DC and superhero games like Spiderman.
This game definitely feels like it was supposed to release during the ps4 era
0:55 so you fooled yourself lol
I mained Nightwing
Its not an arkham game... Thats the biggest problem with it. Everyone wants it to be an arkham game and it's not.
I like this game! I don’t understand the hate for it
I was playing suicide squad really didn't enjoy it and managed to get a refund so I brought Gotham knights and love it
just tried playing it. And your first 6 seconds sums up the game. the end.
Im about to play this on the series x, and im gonna make sure to enjoy it
I bought it 11$ on a steam sale.
Great video! Glad I found it 😊
I like it. It’s not an Arkham game by any means but it’s pretty cool to just kill time
I think this game is ultra underrated! It's super fun and engaging! Me and my sons always have a ton of fun when we play! And thats the bottom line for me. Great for casuals!
I don’t understand why no DLC and etc. Or any other added villains. Very boring
Is this shit still 30fps locked
Way better than kill the justice league.
Honesly I did not like Previous Arkham Batman Games. The reason Is bad Or Outdated UI Designs. often found myself lost. don't know what to do.
Bosses were too damm hard for my liking. entire game felt outdated.
Didn't Had this issue with marvel avengers od spiderman games.
Man the games is good i liked it i just wish the fighting was little better and faster.
The highlight is the story? 😂
iam mostly Red hood I think he's one of the best
I might give it a go. I enjoyed the Arkham series, plus I'm looking forward to the new Suicide Squad game too.
this game made me realize how much people glaze the arkham games they’re good but they’re also barely better than this😂
stop it go play Arkham Knight and almost 10 year old game, then play this pile of garbage. It feels like going from playing a premium game to some indie game made by amateurs
This game is fck garbage even Arkham asylum is 10x better than this trash
Batgirl story is Perfect
Red hood and Robin are my main💯💯💯
Its worth playing for 13 and 17 dollars for sure you know the game was bad the minute you dont play as Bruce for his final moments
This shit 10$ on ps, definitely worth playing for me 😂😂😂😂😂
Compared to suicide squad kill the justice league
I played this game I liked using Red Hood honestly I didn't like using Nightwing he was pretty weak
I couldn't even get past the 2nd mission, the acting the movement the combat its so trash😂
If it's on game pass try this shit while you can.
night wing and robin
This game is completely unrelated to the Arkham franchise it’s wrong to compare it so although we got a suicide squad by rocksteady to look forward to
I'm super concerned about suicide squad
@@Ewaii26 just gotta wait till it comes out brother speculation does nothing but set you up for disappointment from what I know from rocksteady studio in the past I’m hoping it’s a banger but again speculation kills
True, its hard not to see a bit of gameplay and not feel some type of way about it, and from the bits ive seen it looks more like gotham knights/marvels avengers game than any kind of arkham game, thats not what i would want but ok, now this doesnt mean that it still cant be good but like u said we have to wait and see@@wu-kong1892
Red hood is awesome
been a day 1 player mannn
i'm maining robin
Let me think … nope
You already failed in this videos first minute. "Try not to play this game and think about the arkham games". If you have to go into a game with that low of a mind set, you know its bad. It no surprise this game got the reviews it got. Stop trying to make this game something that its not
Can't spell dead?
movie reference from robin hood men in tights
I main Robin
the game is awsome with friends me and my boy dodo king loves the game
Just finished this game on the game pass its ok gameplay very boring
