For those who don’t know their geography, Kuwait is next Saudi Arabia; and Arabia is off of the Persian Gulf, just like Kuwait. Because of this, not only do they have extreme temperatures; but also high humidity with sticky dew points. In other words, Kuwait is not for the weak, it takes a special kind of person to deal with it. Unless your from Southeast Asia, Southern India, the Caribbean, South America, or of course the Middle East itself; don’t recommend that everyone visits. If you do, unless you got the right skin: ✋🏿✋🏾✋🏽, or you tan but not burn, lighter skinned people recommend to cover up like Drew in the video, and bring PLENTY of water and hydrating foods like: Watermelons, Cucumbers , Coconuts, or any other kinds of Foods or drinks that hydrate or at least have electrolytes.

As a US Marine veteran, I was stationed in Kuwait for about 3 months during the Iraq War in 2002 and I can tell you the heat is ridiculous. Being from the south gave me an edge over most people but we absolutely had to stay in our tents during the day. Oddly enough, as hot as it is during the day, it's just as cold as night

Got use to it quick. Honestly, it made me kinda horny .. just me? I know it wasn't. Our squad leader kept telling us to stay away from girls wearing Pink PT belts bc they were selling themselves, like. What🤨 I did ask a bunch of guys how they felt about being so far away from their significant others.
Yeah. They basically said they all had boo thangz while they were there like dang.. I was missing ouTTT.
Got sidetracked for a second there. Hot place though. I do miss that seafood every Friday.. Saturdays. One of those. Covering my food from the sand on the way back to the tent. That good life👍

I was stationed in Camp Arifjan, Kuwait for 2 separate years when I was in the military. It was no joke. Hot and humid! Low temps in the 90s. They stored water on the rooftops, so after morning company exercise there was a race to get back to the barracks and shower first, to use the cooler water that had been sitting in the pipes, inside the building, which had time to cool down over night; because once that was gone, the "cold water" that made it down from the roof into those pipes, was TOO HOT TO SHOWER WITH!!!!! That's right, the COLD water alone was TOO HOT to use to shower! The dust storms, being forced to run on what looked like clear days, only to get back to the barracks to spit out blood and sand grains and dust. Lord it was terrible.

Saudi Arabia was bad too but not nearly as Kuwait.

Since I am Algerian and accustomed to extreme heat and extreme cold, I can confirm that the cold is more difficult than the heat. In the desert, you can find a palm tree for shade under it, or a camel drinking from its milk, and you can catch something to eat, but if you are in the far reaches of the Djurdjara Mountains, the problem is not Not only the cold, but the lack of oxygen and difficulty breathing as well, so the cold is much more difficult
