Induction imho is the best instrument for reasoning because it is based on the special observation...and that is the only truth and certainty we have...generalization is (in the best case) just the sum of several verified observations and you never have certainty if you try to generalize something. Deduction starts with a generalized point of view and therefore already starts with an amount of uncertainty. Also you can cook with induction, but not with deduction!
