It’s not high quality all of his eyeshadow products have huge mold issues. Also when you factor in indie brands can give you palettes full of multichromes, shimmers, and duochromes for comparable prices it’s very obvious that Patrick is overcharging for the duos because he knows his fan base is gullible. Also based on his shimmers out to date the quality will range from annoying toppers to slightly above mid level for the shimmers so not worth the price at all

Dior and Chanel eyeshadows are not very pigmented as they are marketed more towards older ladies who wear more subdued eyeshadow looks. At least you get high quality for the luxury price point while most luxury brands don’t give you that, and I’m saying this as someone who loves Chanel foundations.

Exactly 🙌🏼 Transparency is key!! I have like 3 followers and I'm an ambassador & affiliate for several brand. Even when they don't pay me, gifted me or I purchase. I always do my best to label my video and captions accordingly. It's not hard. Brands don't like it but honestly your audience does appreciate it.

I think since I'm a Sephora employee I am never shocked about the price. Back in the day it felt so prestige to even step foot in a sephora. I do understand that now they have affordable prices like ordinary and inky list but it's still a luxury store. Guys please don’t believe that “there’s no other eyeshadows out there like this”; yes, yes there are. The price is wild considering that an eyeshadow palette from his line is 70$ but these two singular shadows are 42$. I’ve never purchased anything from PT, but that’s a steep jump. I promise, if you like gorgeous pearl/shimmers you probably have something similar already. Natasha Denona I need a Nude has a gorgeous shade in it that I would consider similar to the PT shadow duos. Or just any baked highlighter could probably work. You need to make your money work for you not work for a company.
RObert Welch said it best about these shades. They are mid at best. The only way they look good is under dim light and thats where he showed them off. This women is still a liar. I recommend watching Robert Welsh's video on the Patrick Ta duo eyeshadows. He is very unbiased and neutral on them and gives an honest review if the product is even worth you paying for it. He even uses the elf products to compare them but admits the colours are just the same but says Elf's products were more likely duping Urban Decay instead

a bit longer answer: Attention spans are fried and larger eyes doing crazy movements are more expressive and catch the eye which might seem very unnatural to people that actually go outside and have a social life. It's a bit like putting subway surfers in the corner.

Mentioning the price isn’t the problem. If you’re reviewing/presenting something, telling the audience the price is pretty necessary to be honest. The problem is the way of mentioning the price. I agree, if you get these products as a gift, maybe just mention, if you think the price is appropriate or not - not try and make it seem like you paid for it yourself ᵕ̈

Exactly 🙌🏼 Transparency is key!! I have like 3 followers and I'm an ambassador & affiliate for several brand. Even when they don't pay me, gifted me or I purchase. I always do my best to label my video and captions accordingly. It's not hard. Brands don't like it but honestly your audience does appreciate it.

I think since I'm a Sephora employee I am never shocked about the price. Back in the day it felt so prestige to even step foot in a sephora. I do understand that now they have affordable prices like ordinary and inky list but it's still a luxury store. (I'm broke so not saying everything is worth the price or not I am just saying and giving my 2 pennies 😅).

Guys please don’t believe that “there’s no other eyeshadows out there like this”; yes, yes there are. The price is wild considering that an eyeshadow palette from his line is 70$ but these two singular shadows are 42$. I’ve never purchased anything from PT, but that’s a steep jump. I promise, if you like gorgeous pearl/shimmers you probably have something similar already. Natasha Denona I need a Nude has a gorgeous shade in it that I would consider similar to the PT shadow duos. Or just any baked highlighter could probably work. You need to make your money work for you not work for a company.

RObert Welch said it best about these shades. They are mid at best. The only way they look good is under dim light and thats where he showed them off. This women is still a liar. I recommend watching Robert Welsh's video on the Patrick Ta duo eyeshadows. He is very unbiased and neutral on them and gives an honest review if the product is even worth you paying for it. He even uses the elf products to compare them but admits the colours are just the same but says Elf's products were more likely duping Urban Decay instead

Elf glitter fleck eyeshadow are amazing, BUT they don't look like that on the eye. I think she used Patrick's formula and said it was the elf one. Again, I love elf, but mine don't look that sparkly at all!
