hi, Im a bit into blender, and i see your grass texture is a bit big, so to make the grass (or any Texture) smaller, just go into UV Editing on the Top Middle, while you have selected the object with your texture; and you will see the texture on the left side, then press A to select the whole thing and just press S and Scale it up, than your Grass is more realistic. And also i saw that your Track Texture was like just lines. To fix that, just go into Edit Mode, Select All with A and Press U, its going to bring up a short menu, there you will click UV Unwrap, and then the Blue Box that Says OK. Just here for Tips, if you wanna know anything, i´d love to teach you, also great tutorial, helped me alot. I´ve tried it before on Asseto Corsa, and now I know how to do it in CarX, thanks ! Keep it up !
for all of us that doesen't work is because the link in the video is an old update that's the cause of why it don't appear when you install it, at the right you got this text : ( Releases 7 Release v1.3.1 Latest on Jul 30, 2020 + 6 releases) try downloading that file at least it worked for me

Really late reaction but for the people that are reading this comment you could also use a path curve to make the road. Search up how to make road in blender and you will probably find a tutorial that does that way

hey, i have little to know clue what im doing in blender and i think i got a little ahead of myself and tried to make a more complex track. im trying to recreate the mission raceway since i haven't seen one for carx, but im having trouble applying the solidify modifier. when i change the thickness half the track goes up, and half goes down. it does that when going either positive or negative. edit: changing the thickness to a negative number raises one side of the track and lowers the other side, and changing it to a positive number does the exact opposite.

I made about 3 tiny test maps and it worked out well. Though, now, when i finally spent time and effort on a map, none of the textures will work. Whenever i add a texture, ingame it just simply replaces it with a white with a red question mark. Please let me know if there is any fix to this, i really wanna play the map. Thanks for the tutorial though! It was really helpful. *Edit:* i found out the issue, apparently there is a texture size cap. I used too big textures. Hope this helps anyone experiencing the same issues, although i dont know the max size.
To fix your texture u need to grab the object go to edit mode, grab the faces you want ( or tap "A" to grab all faces) and then tap "U" to UV unwrap the mesh. You can go to UV editing tab to fine tune And scale your uvs around and fit to the texture however you want. Blender doesn't automatically create uv's when you extrude the mesh for some reason? This video was dope I can't find much info on this subject please make more !! I'm actually wondering did you do anything special to the textures to get them to load in the game because carx is giving me blank textures with ?'s plastered everywhere... super annoying and I can't seem to find a fix... By the looks of it it just worked for you? Also of I try to reimport the map, even if I change the name and make a new folder it doesn't update spawns or anything. Only way I've got it to update it to delete the whole maps folder and remake all folders then re-export... Seems super weird lol is this normal??
Thanks for the tip! Honestly, Im not sure. Did you have the same issue using different images as texture. Possibly the image type has something to do with it? As far as spawns I have trouble with them too. Sometimes they work perfect, other times it seems like a gamble. lol. Sorry I dont really have much advice, still learning myself and I actually havent had much time to mess around in blender lately.

Use older Blender, because as I understand in newest Blender (4.1) the "bpyexport_scene.obj" has been deprecated. You could maybe get it work by replacing "bpyexport_scene.obj" with "bpy.ops.wm.obj_export", but you also have to comment out "use_selection" parameter as it is not present in "bpy.ops.wm.obj_export" and you probably have to do something more and I don't know as I am not used python.

anyone having issues getting textures to load in. add them to the same file as the map in your folders. thats how i got mine to work.

You need to add a texture folder with textures used with in your map folder

Found a solution, you have to downgrade to Blender 3.6 so that it works
