Personally I've only ever (sometimes) taken women out to eat _after_ - if you get my meaning. I never really got indoctrinated by the countless movies and tv shows promoting expensive dinners for prospective helpmates. Hundred+ dollar meals are reserved for myself as a treat from the grind every few weeks.

I’ve also told them, to come workout at the gym with me, and then we grab a smoothie after. The gym is a great place to break the ice. It’s a cool environment, so it kills all the “seriousness” of the meet up. You can even break touch barrier too.(believe me, it works lol). They’ve also met me at the mall, and accompanied me, while I shop etc etc . The simple things do work, if she’s a decent woman. If she’s superficial as hell, you’ll notice really fast.
