Yay!! I was so excited for this video!! Wonderful video and such a great tour! I laughed at the Squishmallows I saw (because my son who’s 6 LOVES his and brings 2-4 with us any time we’re sleeping away from our house!)😆Lol!! AND I will be talking for *minutes* before I realize Julian (my son) has his hand placed on my arm or back patiently waiting for me to notice him and for me to stop talking.🤭 Looks like a wonderful Summer so far!! Thanks so much for all of the information!❤️
We're so happy you enjoyed the video! Kennedy is 5 and yep those squishmallows go everywhere! 😆Our summer is off to a great start and we hope that yours is too! Thank you so much for watching, Merrick!😊
Hey Fam!! Carey saved the drone! We couldn't stop laughing. Heat warning ⚠️ on the iPhone. The Cabin had actual had alot of space. Love the amenities on the property. Definitely wants to tub in the river water one day. The food looks tasty too. The bloopers are always hilarious 😂😂😂. "BLUE"
Yeah! Love me some Sons River Camp and the whole vibe and Luling( LouuuLing pronunciation) has an annual watermelon thump festival. It's a big deal for that cute little town. Good job and Blue
which place is the best out of the two? Sons blue river camp, or sons river ranch, im trying to choose where to make reservations. your opinion would be appritiated.
Sons Blue and Son's River are basically identical . They are about a mile or two apart on the river so if you are tubing you are either going to start at Son River and catch the shuttle from Sons Blue back to Son River. Or if staying at Sons Blue you catch the shuttle first over to Sons River and just end at Sons Blue. I would say that Son's River has a bit more "beach" area for the cabanas and tents near the river and the glamping tents are just a little bit closer to the water. But Son's Blue offers the Log Cabins, where Sons giver only has glamping tents and pop up tents. Don't forget about Son's Geronimo or Son's Rio Cibolo, we loved their Birdhouse Cabins
@@MaysFamilyTravels Which has better water? Cibolo or the Blue/River camps? Cibolo says a spring fed creek...we are wanting an adult get-away so looking for beauty and peacefulness with cold clear water to swim and tube in.
@@candysmith8724 Hi Candy, most of the properties are on the river, so the water is not clear. The Cibolo Creek and Geronimo Creek were a little clear in the more shallow areas. If you're wanting a more peaceful and serene getaway, I would recommend Son's Rio Cibolo. It's new and was not crowded like some of the other properties. Also, the birdhouse cabins back right up to the creek which allows for a beautiful view and peaceful sounds from the creek. I would recommend a lower number cabin to be closer to the start of the creek and water overflow area. We also loved that a cabana came with our rental there. Son's Geronimo is very similar, but was a tad bit busier. If you haven't already, be sure to check out our other Son's properties vlogs. We've visited 4 of them. Also, we're planning to make a comparison video covering each of the properties we visited soon. Stay tuned!

Thanks for watching! We live in the Austin area, so we're definitely very familiar with Salt Lick!
@@MaysFamilyTravels nice!! I've only been to the one in driftwood, TX which I think it's close to the San Marcos one 👍👍✌️
I don't see the cabinets online maybe they don't have it for my date
Hi LaQuanda, You can find the log cabins here, bluerivercamp.com/book-now. Scroll down and you'll see "Log Cabins." Hope this helps!
@@MaysFamilyTravels thanks
Does the water ever get deep enough for swimming in some parts ?
Yes, it does! In fact, there's a part of the river with a rope attached to a tree that you can swing into the water with.

Is the water cold in either place? That's the answer I'm seeking. Thanks!
@@candysmith8724 No problem! The water in the creeks were cold, but not unbearable.
How hot is it right now
We visited last summer (2022). It was around 100 degrees.
