Thank you for your video production You made it easier for me to understand this EDC package This is the most personal description I've ever seen. From the detailed information on the EDC bag to personal experience of using it, it is very detailed and clear. Before I saw your video, I was still considering the Mystery Ranch District Pro 16L But now I know that what I need is Helikon.
I've had the medium for about a year. I have a smaller 'tactical' style bag that is my absolute favorite, but this is my 2nd favorite. It carries well, holds all my stuff, and has plenty of organization.

Hi JP. I genuinely rate this bag over other 3 or 4 times it's price. I have seen this excellent review a few weeks ago. A few days ago I had birthday. And now I own a fantastic Urban Carrier Bag (Large). You see? That‘s how it works ... a great review always has positive effects. Thanks a lot.
Thanks Diderich, that's great to hear. I'd love to hear what you think of the bag. Do you 100% agree with me? Is there anything you'd change about it? How do you use use yours?
Moorlander EDC In the moment I can‘t really say a lot about it, because I just own it since very few days and I have not even used it the way I want to. But what I can say is that I appreciate the material and build quality a lot. All the details they put into the design is excellent and I‘m sure this bag will last a long time. I want to use it for different things and in a way of a daypack instead of a classic bagpack. I will use it to carry camera equipment, water & food, clothes and other equipment for the outdoor use, like knives and fire boxes, pot‘s and stove‘s etc.. Just for everything I want to carry for a day hike into nature. For a city trip this bag is too big - for this I would use a simple waist bag or something small and easy. Thank‘s again and take care.
A really good in depth review. Seems to be a nice bag. And I like how you prepared all the things already positioned in the bag. The bag looked empty - and like a magican you always took out one more thing. I was totally not expecting the pistol.

this is really nice bag. I bought one after watching your old video. thank you for introducing this bag ! i put vercro wall in the big pocket of flip cover and attach some organisation pouch. this mod gives very useful big quick access pocket to this bag. extremely convenient. I use this bag in my lotation with A19 Evade 1.5 bagpack for commuting to my office bringing MacBook pro 15" and some EDC staff. my only complaint is side bottle pockets are little too narrow opening. I hope they will make little wider openings like the Evade backpack has. otherwise I have no complain and love this bag.

Bought the medium size (took the decision after this video 😊 ) thinking the large was too big well, the medium is enough, it fits a 13 inch laptop and lacks the loops below the buckles straps that was the only surprise. The bag is good, I'm happy with it
So the Medium version does not have the D-Rings to hold the buckles and therefore you can't attach a jacket or something underneath, or am I misunderstanding? That would be a shame because I would definitely gravitate towards the medium size but the option to carry a jacket like that was a big selling point for me
Wow, I have a really got memories with this bag. If you remember the first generation of the Wombat bag, this one should be Wombat mk II, not that bag that was released before this one. The biggest downside of this one is it lacks the quick access that was installed inside the flap which means you could open the bag without messing aromd the buckles and the velcro. Just unzip the top of the flap and put your hands inside. It was a great feature of the first Wombat. I really miss it. It's a courier bag so you should get quickly inside the main compartment, leave the delivery and go. Opening the flap non stop was a huge pain in the butt.
Hey buddy. I've never really been attracted to the Wombat. I think it's a strange style. It looks more like a small hold all rather than a courier style, shoulder bag. The Urban Courier messenger bag hits so many sweet spots 😅
The dreaded White Five Legged Spider, now I know how it looks, has seen some of these in the end of my own arms, I have always been cuorius what that has been.
Regarding the internal organization - Helikon has it´s range of VIS - Versatile Insert System - velcro organizers. Also fits any "Dapper" style pouches.
Hello and thank you for a great review! Was thinking of geting either this bag or the bushcraft satchel. Do you know how they hold up to rain? Water resistance is important to me due to occasionally transporting electronics in it. Which one would you recommend between the two? I'm planning on using it as an EDC, but also need a bag that can hold some extra clothes in it when I need to sleep at work or when I'm out in the woods with the kids for an afternoon. Cheers /H
Hi Haken. They're definitely both great packs. It could be a tricky answer. The Urban Courier is more like a tradition open top satchel. The fold over flap does a great job at keeping rain off however at a push, there's nothing stopping the inner pouch folding awkwardly and allowing rain in under the top flap. The bushcraft satchel have a full zip on top which really helps water run off and stop from getting in the bag. It's not an aqua-gaurd zipper so it's not 100% water proof. The Urban Courier is far superior when it comes to comfort and internal storage. Whereas the BC Satchel is really light and very convenient for general EDC. Personally when it comes to a laptop commute for me, I always grab the Urban Courier. I hope this helps my friend
I see that you also reviewed their Bushcraft satchel. Have you considered reviewing their Wombat? It has a bit more organisation than either of other bags. It does not have a dedicated laptop area which is appealing as I do not carry a laptop as EDC, so in the Urban Courier it is wasted space. I suspect I’m not the only one.
I just wanted to ask about the front pocket on the flap, I’m torn between the sizes of the bag but, would the flap pocket hold a waterproof about the size of the Arktis rain shield jacket?
@@MoorlanderEDC thanks! Just trying to find one now haha, appears that the medium is the more sort after version! Either I pay 70/80 plus or go abroad and pay the same price as the large 😂

You're more than welcome my friend
Meeeh, this reads like a paid review. No thanks.
Hi Dr. K. I'm sorry if it came across like that. I can definitely confirm I wasn't paid by Helikon Tex to give this a positive review. The pack was bought with my own money (I actually used an Amazon vouchers I got from work) to make the purchase. I genuinely do think this bag is that good. Helikon Tex have really impressed me throughout 2020. If you do eventually purchase this shoulder bag, I'd love to hear what you think about it. Have a great week
Meeh seems like a asinine comment from someone who has a unhealthy addition to Lovecraft.
