For added context- Frenzy can *only* be activated on the opponent's *main* phase(s). This means Kentregina can *only* copy it during that same period of time. Frenzy can be Ash'd, which is why cards like Intact and Solemn Strike are desired to have on the field just in case this happens (if it's copied by Kentregina, it cannot be Ash'd, as Kentregina's effect is "copy it"). Kentregina can NOT copy all Dinomorphia Trap cards, she can only copy the Dinomorphia *Normal* Traps, the Dinomorphia Counter Traps can only be copied by Dinomorphia Reversion, which no one actually runs, as it requires a Dinomorphia Fusion on field and the Counter Trap to copy in the GY. Reversion can copy *any* Counter Trap, however. Rexterm isn't a skill drain, as skill drain negates, Rexterm outright doesn't allow the activation, so not even costs are allowed. Also, it's wise to not shotgun its quick effect unless you're familiar with what your opponent is doing, as you can activate its quick effect during the Battle Phase, right after an attack has been declared. As the field's status has not changed, the attack cannot be resended, and must go through, and by this time your LP is at 1k, so all monsters that can be affected become 1k attack, which even Therizia can beat. Alert locks you to Dinomorphia for the rest of the turn, as well as the monster summoned by it cannot attack for the turn it was activated. Kentregina copying Alert will also lock you and the monster(s) summoned will have "summoning sickness". So, you cannot do rank 4 plays using Therizia and Diplos for that turn if you activated Alert during your turn. Combo 1: Pretty standard Dinomorphia set up. Main weakness of this is the Frenzy getting Ash'd. By the end of the combo, you are at 2k LP. Combo 2: This is actually THE desired set up, as it covers the main weakness of combo 1. Only weakness would be in any format that allows Red Reboot, like Master Duel. Same as before if Intact isn't activated, 1k LP if Intact is activated. Combo 3: If you don't have Frenzy, but have Domain instead, you can send Frenzy from deck using Diplos, then have Kentregina copy the Frenzy. This version is just a tad slower, and thus, weaker. This combo will end with 1k LP either way. Tips: The Dinomorphia Trap GY effects are easy to remember at a glance. The Normal Traps protect from effect damage, the Counter Traps protect from battle damage. Kentregina can actually *dodge* targeted negates if she's destroyed before the negate resolves. Say you active her quick effect, and as long as you're copying Frenzy, and your opponent activates something like Imperm, and you have a Brute set and ready to go, you can activate the Brute to pop a card (even the Imperm if you want) and Kentregina. Because of this, not only will Frenzy's effect go through, you can summon Therizia or Diplos from the GY, as Kentregina was just destroyed. If your opponent on their first time instantly tries to go to Battle Phase before doing anything, just to activate Evenly Matched, and you have no backrow to stop it during the battle phase, say "before main phase 1 ends" and just activate Frenzy (and Intact/Strike as needed, if they're there) and *do not activate Kentregina's copy effect* until your opponent moves into their main phase 2. As I said, Frenzy can be activated in either main phases, and Kentregina copies based on when the Trap would be able to be activated. This way allows a Dinomorphia player to actually play through an Evenly Matched without too much pain.
@@DarkArmedDuelist Sure, sure. I've done probably hundreds of duels with Dinomorphia, so my knowledge of the archetype and how to play around certain other archetypes rather well.
Nah, is Doktor, turn off muy pain inhibitors! Metal Gear Rising meme. The deck ocg name is a pun between Dino, Ruffians and a painkiller enzyme that the body generates called dynorphin, the tcg name is a pun between dinos, morphia (form of) and morphine.
The alert play is so strong. I prefer to set brute so I can pop two cards and get both therizia and diplos eff again. Can then go into an xyz play such as dugares, arc rebellion, or laggia/dolkka; alternatively, you could go into a chaos angel (or two if you had a domain as well) and then S:P for a total of 5 pops in one turn.
Ash can also be easily baited when u draw therizia and fossil dig. Activate fossil dig and if ashed then carry on with standard therizia combo If fossil dig is not ashed then add miscellaneousaurus to hand and now therizia can't be ashed cus u chain Misc to protect her
@DarkArmedDuelist There are also like 4 hand traps that they can open up plus the monsters are dark making them weak again Bystials why not run the dinosaur Mis?
1. Pure the deck usually run multiple copys of Intac, solemn judment, iron thunder or can also open the diferent Dinomorphia fusion cards + consisteny cards like pots or Wannabee so is common to have something to avoid Ash. 2. In the RyuGe version, RyuGe eat the handtraps instead of Dinomorphia, and if they don't use the handtraps to stop RyuGe you go to an omninegate with Varudras to protect Dinomorphia. Reallystically you need at least two handtraps to stop Dinomorphia.

Thank you so much for sharing your insight! This is some great information and will help a LOT of players!

the last one advice its pretty good, ty
No , never summon the fusions In those zones . You play right into anima for no reason
The Dinomorphia philosophy:
My life is so low that if they breathe on me, I die...
So I'll make them stop breathing.

I just started playing Dinomorph so this video helped alot thanks !!
I haven’t played in a few years and dinomorphia was one of my favourite deck, might get back to yugioh😅
I really really really love this deck. Do you think he got a chance in this current format?

Therizia can’t be ash
Great combo's and all but once they Ash your trap cards then you start crying inside lol you just hope and pray they don't have anything
That's actually why I included combo 2! You can play around ash and still make your plays!

Have you read misc?
I have, and play it in my deck, it's a good search with Fosil dig
Hey can you do an updated blue eyes deck and Ninja deck profile please?
