I've fallen in love with this archetype. I used to imagine myself as a dinosaur themed hero as a young kid so it's like these were meant for me. Plus they're the first dinosaur deck I've actually wanted to play.
There is a Marvel character with this kind of power. His name is Reptil, and he can morph his body parts (limbs, head...) into dinosaur type parts. For example, he can morph his head into a trex head, his arms into pterosaur wings or his legs into velociraptor legs. Also it seems each morph comes with a special power; trex head gives him amazing eyesight, a sauropod tail can grab things etc.
Dinorphia's look ridiculously good even as is, but the lack of cards in the archetype means you're probably gonna want extra searchers to get ahold of the main deck monsters in the first place.
3 Pot, 3 Domain, 3 Frenzy, 2 Card Dino to search, 2-3 spell card to search all Dino from 1 to 6 star and there are 3 trap card to search for Domain or Frenzy. I think there are enough searcher in this deck. This deck is actually easier to play than Edlich.
I've lost to someone teching in Dinorphia the oldest, most forgotten trap card ever: "Reverse Trap". You expect to attack a Kentragina with 0 ATK because the opponent still has their LP too high? Well now it gains your LP as ATK instead of losing them. Now it's a 8000-12 000 ATK monster. Rip. Another excellent trap which seems MADE for the archetype is "Ferret Flames". I say yes to a board wipe taking advantage of your low LP.
Oh crap, that sounds really cool! So you could potentially throw out a fusion, get one 3k or less card to attack them, for example, and suddenly you just win if you're at around max LP. That's nutty!
Reverse trap seems a bit gimmicky. At least 12,000 attack reverse trap Getting a 6k out of it is good but not using any archetype cards, summoning their boss monsters, and getting this card? Your either running this archetype and lose access to every trap in your deck Or your running another deck that only runs the boss monster (plus materials) which gets killed by an MST let alone harpies or lightning storm. Even if you activated the trap in response they can just not attack and you lose out on a 12,000 on your own turn, ignoring monster removal.
This is the only place to get better grasp on ygo archetypes individually but the absence of archetype playlist makes it a bit hard. Would love to see archetype playlist seperated by year of release. Anyways, great content!
One last thing to mention, that trap monster seems pretty amazing. Outside of the LP payment, it almost serves to make metal reflect slime obsolete, as it doesn't seem to require specific archetype to use at all, and I personally love trap monsters.
The Ladies of Lament could definitely help out this deck since This Dino-themed deck is Dark Attribute, has ALOT of Traps! And the Ladies, Can facilitate a lot of advantage, especially Lilith since her Effect is the best out of the Three!
I would love to try Dinomorphias. They have had their other fusion monster Rexterm now for quite a while. Rexterm is stupid strong and is a big boon for the deck. The only monsters that can skirt under him are literal 0 atk monsters and maybe 1-200 atk monsters depending on life points. They're a big smash-through/control deck. Also Therizia is super cute for some reason and Kentregina's hot, but scary.

Brute force reminds me of how annoying Konami can be with certain archetypes. Brute force synergizes very well with its own archetype meaning it drawback is just there for show most of the time. Meanwhile other archetypes that are less competitive have cards that with actual drawbacks that don't synergize with the other cards at all.
Someone sat in Konami HQ and in the corner of his eye he saw that someone left his cards on the desk. Thinking it was soul eating oviraptor he asked guy how do he finds playing Dinosaurs. Little did he know it was actually SPYRAL super agent. And that's how Dinoruffia came to be. Another position for "Why the heck this is typed like that list" right between Marincess and RIkka. Lava Golem have me at your mercy.
Forbidden Chalice on Kentregina would be a fun way to make a quick beater, or to pull off as a trap if your opponent tries to run over her when her ATK isn't at it's max.
Now, with Rextern and the trap that summon Z-Arc for half your LP, next can replace him with 1 to 4 monsters including starving venom and Crystal wing this deck is just really good
Do you think its worth it to include ELEMENTAL HERO Air Neos in this deck? just run 3 copies of neos fusion and since your life drops so easily you can easily get this birb to 8k+ attack
Whenever I'm hearing Dino DNA, I couldn't help but think of Power Rangers Dino Thunder and Kira has gone FULL METAL that she'd do that Nimona METAL meme after defeating her opponents. Hell, I'm even thinking about either Beast Wars or Dinozaurs. 😅
For any master duel dinomorph duelist that need any help, here’s the best 4 advices I can give you guys before big boi rex show up. 1.) ferret flame and torrential are your best friend 2.) heavenly prison to protect your back row while also helping the deck in term of speed as it help set up for the next turn 3.) without domain, you’re a sitting duck, slap on Lilith to help you search. She will also be useful if you already have domain and want another trap to help support your end board. 4.) arc rebellion and Zeus for clean up duty Gl fams Oh btw damage juggler will protect you from burn deck and the occasion lava golems. Legit your worse enemy.
I would love to try this deck, problem? For wanting to end the game as fast as possible, it's gonna have a very hard time being trap dependent without any way to activate them the turn they are set without running that one card. They also really need more main deck monsters, and the idea would be to fusion summon the bird first, then try and get the 4000 one out to prep for an assault, of which it can't do since the proverbial fusion is once per turn I believe they said? So you either need to run that and secondary fusion cards or risk a multi-turn preparation. This build feels like it's in need of some careful tuning with other cards to really attempt to make it well. However I am not familiar as much with dinos in general, I play against them more than use them so maybe I'm underestimating what kind of dino support there is that could spice this deck all to hell.
Uuumm actually Nova not all dinosaurs are cold blooded. Recent studies actually suggest that some of them were actually warm blooded. It’s due to their environments. Or so they theorized. I’m but of a dinosaur nerd.
Often my opponents think that some effect damage or when they can finally pull off an attack can finish me off so its really satisfying when I banish traps from my GY specifically to gain immunity for that. They really don't like it when I do that.
Mmmm... Since they're "modifying" their bodies to make them look like Dinosaurs... Wouldn't this mean the "Orphia" in the name be more related to the word "Dismorphia"??? As in some sort of body modification or anomaly??
am archetype of dino waifus that takes most of LP to be powered up and take control of the board... their theme is just like POWER RANGERS DINO THUNDER... RAAAWRR!!!! in further booster set.. more support in this archetype to gain their full potential and dominance in the current meta
I’m deckbuilding Dinomorphias right now after their TCG release, and have been coming up with a lot of cool ideas. I think this is going to be a pretty strong rogue/tier 2 for now, and get really scary when we get the support in the next set
Ik this video is 5 months old, but what about a 60 card grass dimorphia fossil deck. Both decks have cards they want in the grave (traps/rock monsters) and fossils give dimorphia a good finishing power. Of course grass is legal in master duel so itd have to be played there.
Personally, for me, my silly tech pick would be End of the Line. Sure getting the LP to less than 10 even in this deck is still difficult, but honestly, if I get to resolve that even once, it's worth it. XD

Dinoruffia is a poor translation of what it sounds like in Japanese, and I'm guessing the pictures he found were before they localized it properly into Dinomorphia. Dinorphia is a more accurate translation, being a cross between dinosaur and dynorphin.
This archetype feels like someone really wanted a unique gimmick, instead of focusing on something more practical. Seriously ever since this archetype came out I've maybe ran into 1 Dinomorphia players in EDO and none in MD.
Yeah... it seems like a cool idea, and I can see the potential here. I completely get the logic, because LP doesn't matter nearly as much as having a good board setup does. But also, it REALLY does feel like the second someone blows through these things, which WILL happen, you're going to lose hard. I'm not even really 'good' at the game and even I'm sitting here thinking that two Swordsoul syncros is going to burn through this effortlessly. That's totally doable by turn 2/3 after they get the full setup going. And any Sky Striker deck that can just get rid a clear shot is going to be able to potentially win without even going Link 3. Maybe I'm just not experienced enough, but it feels like what you get from the LP reductions could be better. But also, it seems like there's a lot of fun weirdo setups you could pull to get a lot of weird BS out of this. Like someone else brought up a neat Reverse Trap idea that isn't going to be meta, BUT it does sound pretty cool as a troll setup, lol.

Both work well. I use ferret flames. Still need to find one more. But ya it's stupid fun. Also gotta get the third skill drain

Been testing this archetype out and have fallen in love with it, the idea of burning yourself to get allot of benefit is super neat
