Great vid, just got a used GB2 and went straight to my clubs claim in Meadview gonna hit the wash in the AM after watching some GB2 vids to see what kind of tips I can get.
You aren't kidding about the heat though but I'd rather be up here suffering than suffering in the city at least I can get a few hours of searching a day.

@@GoldFeverAdventures lol I kinda wish I was in a cooler climate right now I was gonna hang it up for the rest of the summer this week after feeling defeated not finding anything with my MXT but when I found the GB2 today I couldn't pass it up and getting to the claim is all I had on my mind.
I don't know how much more I can suffer without AC but I do have a Joshua tree that provides a bit of shade and a lot of water might just have to bust out the pop up canopy and hope it doesn't blow into the next county

It’s cool ya did a video on the gold bug 2. I’ve definitely been wondering between getting that or the gold monster 1000. But I think I’ll go and try the analog. The magnet on a pick is a neat tip. Ya i think metal detecting is like hunting or fishing. It’s about enjoying the outdoors and a good reason to get out of town. A bad day in the mountains is better than a good day in town my dad used to say.

I just bought the 10" coil for my GB2 to get more depth and find it harder to ground balance. I have to max out ground balance to #10 to get to balance. The 6" coil is way easier to balance and much lighter. Each coil has it's own purpose. The GB2 is absolutely the best vlf machine out there in my opinion. Thanks for sharing. 🇺🇸👍😎⛏
I agree! It just has a higher learning curve. But yes a more sensitive machine!
