- This video consists of me answering 7 questions from some Albanian viewers. The whole video segment is 25 minutes so I broke it into 2 parts This video is question 1 and 2 only. Here they are:

There was a young African American ( I won't mention his name because he wouldn't want that ), who began to make videos about Serbia back in 2011. At first he began to talk about Djokovic and how he admires him. The more time passed, the more he was interested in Serbia and serbian history. So he began to talk in his videos about Nato bombing, Kosovo battle, Ottoman ocupation, Danak u krvi (aka tax in blood). You can imagine the pressure he fell upon. He began to get death threats from Albanians and others who hate Serbs. Some of them were from the States and his hometown. Eventually they managed to scare him away and few of us, his online friends from Serbia, lost contact with him. I'm glad to see you don't get scared easily... Pozdrav!

It’s unfortunate how we Serbians and Albanians fought together against the Ottomans and now we are greatest of enemies. Albanians also allowed Serbian army to retreat through their country during the First World War. Unfortunate that our friendship ended. Times have changed and will continue to change. Maybe we can rekindle what we once had in the future but I doubt it. Tensions are always high. Pozdrav.

Being a native born Serbian in america im kind of curious about why theres so much hate between albanians and serbs there versus here. I mean here i make friends with many Albanians and theyre very open minded but when i met one over there i got instant hate from them for no reason... i dont know i find it stupid because Albanians are a very interesting people as are serbs and i think we can learn a lot from each other. but then again i might not know much about it 😅

Skenderbeg was not Albanian, but Serbian, from a Serbian noble family, had some of Nemanjic's (royal Serbian dynasty of the era) blood in him, was an Serbian Orthodox Christian, along with his father and brother who are both buried in Serbian Orthodox monastery of Hilandar, on Mt. Athos in Greece.
He was made into an Albanian by the Austrians in the late 19th century, when they started making what is today knows as the Albanian nation, but which was until then just a loose network of tribes and clans living in geographically remote areas of today's Albania. Austrians had all the political interests for literally making a new nation on the Balkans, and thats why they did it.

You're getting involved in a heated dispute between serbs and albanians, that's why you're getting heat.
You say that you don't hate the Kosovo soil but you also state it's the heart of the Serbian people (as if it wouldn't be the heart of the Albanian people), which will for sure upset and anger albanians. That's the ignorance from your side.
When it comes to the NATO bombings on civilian targets in Belgrade and other parts of Serbia, I condemn those bombings and I know many Albanians won't publicly do that, but I do.
I see Kosovo as a country for the Albanians, Serbs and other minorities which live there. Kosovo is neither Serbia nor Albania. Kosovo is Kosovo, period.
I'd say the way Serbs are treated in Kosovo is a measure stick for how well the morale of the Kosovo-Albanian people is. If Serbs get treated well in Kosovo (by Albanians), then I believe Kosovo will prosper as an independent state.

Very interesting video. Was born i Kosovo, in Mitrovica to a catholic/orthodox family and lived there for about 1-2 months before i moved to Sweden. I am pretty unbiased in this question tbh and know for a fact that both parts had to endure some shit. As I dont live there and now the exact situation and how they are being treated but yeah. And i totally agree with you about media being one parted and brainwashing people with one side of the story but you can't deny the atrocities commited to the albanians there. I mean the religion didn't matter about who they killed in kosovo. Just google Meja Massacre. And about the churches im disgusted that they were burnt down.. But imo i don't think that had to do with religion at all but who the churches represented, in this case the serbs but it still doesn't justify it at all. My great grandad came from albania to kosovo, mitro and lived on what now is the so called "serbian-part" of mitrovica. Visit the place from time to time and never had any problem and i know that people from that part come to the albanian part of mitrovica without any problem. Serbians killed albanians and albanians killed serbian. 20 relatives of mine in the meja massacre were killed and both of my uncles were shot just outside of our house when the war began, and they were carpenters just like my granpa with no ties to the army. And to talk about who owns the land is such a fucking bullshit talk to even take. Nobody owns any fucking soil. And im not here to have a history lession from the birth of jesus to today. I know that Kosovo has been an important part of serbia (and still is according to some people) but what the fuck is up with all this hate. The war was not long ago i get it but what do you get from this hate and anger. Well it's probably easier said than done. And funny enough our closest friends that we celebrate easter and christmas with here in Sweden is a serbian family.
The only threat to balkan is the hate we have toward eachother and the turkish government role from behind the curtains.

You paint the Albanians far darker than you should. Four times as many Albanian civilians died as opposed to the serbs. Proof they were oppressed by the serbs. Even in this video you mock them. If I told you some of the things the serbs did to them you will think twice on your opinion.
I recommend you stop treating Kosovo as Serbian land. Its been recognised by the majority of UN members and we both know it will never return to Serbia.
