Vol 15 - Old Barnsley In Colour

I'm Stuart Sykes and I have lived in Barnsley all my life and am a keen landscape photographer. Its my passion to restore old photographs and make them look how I think they should be viewed in all their splendour and glory.
The images in this video have been sourced from various places including post cards and the internet. I am assuming that all these images are now out of copyright but if any image does contravene any copyright still held then I will remove it immediately from this video please let me know at.

Your ''roystan sewing factory '' could well be VALUSTA , they used to make good quality shirts . I was an apprentice electrician working for D.H Marrion in the early 60's . We did a lot of work in that factory . Full of girls , couldn't wait to get there . D.H marrion is still extant on Sheffield road Barnsley . I am still extant in Queensland , Australia .
