love this idea...and your video was so easy to watch.. a lot of these craft videos get boring after a while but you have a soothing voice and beautiful hands.. nice bling as well .. :O)
Wow, this must have been your first protect. I clicked on one thing and got your 2016 fall tutorial :) I love it! And noticed how much nicer it be with your knowledge of peeling the napkins. Thanks for leaving it on. You inspire me to not be afraid, begin, & continue :D
I just love that you liked the wrinkly look.." I did a bottle and it wrinkled and I thought I goofed! But I stuck a candle in the top and called it good! I love your method.🍾
I used the same sheets that you're using too much pot spaghetti glass vases last year they came out really nice I put some burlap ribbon on the rim and some flowers and acorns wrapped around it
beautiful work...I've never seen this type of craft before. my friend sent me pictures of class bottles he decorated with napkins. so I decided I wanted to learn too. and I found you! I know what I'll be doing this weekend. 😁😁😁
I am watching this video again as I am putting the jute twine on my bottles and I needed a refresher course as to how to do it! Mine are turning out pretty good. I am also going to put a burlap band around the middle and attach one of those burlap pompoms that you made in another video! Thank you again for sharing. You got my crafting juices flowing!!! :)
Oh Tracey, I like these and I have everything except the napkins! I have been looking for some after watching your haul video since you said you would be doing something with them. I have a dr appointment tomorrow so maybe I will try the Dollar Tree while I am out! Thank you for sharing! I'm so excited as I just realized you posted another video so I am going to check that one out now! :)
Hi Tracey, I was wondering if you have any tips for removing the labels on the wine bottles. I have soaked mine for a full day and they are not coming off! Thank you! :)
They are beautiful!!! I just happen to buy some napkins like that this weekend, to make some coasters. Now I will have wine bottles & coasters to match and they will look so pretty. I better drink some more wine. So many options for this design. Now my mind is spinning!!! Can’t wait to see your next video.
Thank you for the idea. I have some napkins similar to this one. Thanks to you I have an idea how to use the designs of the napkins for a DIY project. It will be my first time using Mod Podge. One question, are you using a thin sheet of the napkin? I am wondering if a thin sheet will tear with the Mod Podge. Thanks again for this DIY. Love it.
+Beverly Alexanderno b Thanks so much for watching. This was one of my first mod podge bottles. I have learned so much since then. I know there is an outdoor and waterproof mod podge. I usually peel the back layer of the napkin off so that it doesn't wrinkle. I learned from my mistake. I also paint the bottle white so the design on the napkin is more vibrant. Check out my more recent mod podge videos to see the techniques. ❤I appreciate you watching! Hugs🍁Tracey
This one is amazing, I;ll have to try this one but I also am looking for the patron bottle video but I can't see to find it. Can you send me the link to that tutorial video please, you're awesome!!
Hello, great video! I have a question, did you peel the back off the tissue? I am trying to decide if peeling the layers off the tissue is necessary or not. Thanks.
This is beautiful but I always separate the layers first, only use the printed layer, and then use a plastic bag to smooth so my fingers don’t stick to the napkin
@milsteinpets This is an old video when I first started. My Sis has these bottles and she loves them. Watch some of the other vids, you will see I removed the layer. Thanks for watching.
+Marlou Holgerson Thank you. I used regular mod podge for this project. I know there is a water proof/outdoor mod podge, but I have not tried it yet. There is also a dishwasher safe mod podge. I hope that helps.
Hi. Is this one ply table napkin? I have a pack of it. Pl do reply. I was afraid it may tear so i dropped the idea of decoupaging. Because decoupage napkins are 3ply. Thanks for showing me the way. Pl reply is this regular paper napkin?
+Butters This was my first try with mod podging bottles. I've sure learned a lot since then...lol... Always remove the layers to prevent wrinkling and paint the bottle white before applying the mod podge and napkins.

Great! Let me know how it goes! hugs, Tracey
I don’t know if you tried it yet but if you dilute your glue and use a brush you can get it smooth for a different look.
+Ajay Richardson This was my first time doing mod podge on bottles. I've gotten much better since then. ❤ Great tip! ❤
I need those napkins.
Thank you for the idea. I have some napkins similar to this one. Thanks to you I have an idea how to use the designs of the napkins for a DIY project. It will be my first time using Mod Podge. @@MindlessCrafting Do you paint all the bottles white or can you do color to coordinate with napkin
@@ritacopado1348 Normally I do white, but I have tried other colors.
@@MindlessCrafting Ty
you can drop a glow stick in there to illuminate it!
+KC C Good idea! Thank you✂🍁
Tracy after reading the comments below, I must ask, what kind of mod podge do you use now over your projects? I noticed you mentioned a couple.
This one is amazing, I;ll have to try this one but I also am looking for the patron bottle video but I can't see to find it. Can you send me the link to that tutorial video please, you're awesome!!
+Marilyn Melendez-Gamble thanks, Marilyn. I have several. What color is it?
Can you use PVA glue mixed with water in stead of. Modge podge. With napkins
Hello, great video! I have a question, did you peel the back off the tissue? I am trying to decide if peeling the layers off the tissue is necessary or not. Thanks.
+Oreo Puddn Thank you! I'm not sure. On the next one, I'll probably peel off the back. Let me know if you give it a try.✂🍁🌲Happy crafting, Tracey
If you don't peel off the other layer it wrinkles and forms air pockets.
Love it
Great idea ? Can it be washed and is there a sealant to put on after it's done to protect and add a glossy shine? 😇
+Marlou Holgerson Thank you. I used regular mod podge for this project. I know there is a water proof/outdoor mod podge, but I have not tried it yet. There is also a dishwasher safe mod podge. I hope that helps.
Thanks for this information. I did not know there were different types of Mod Podge.
I BEAUTIFUL WORK, I HAVE A QUESTION, DON T YOU SEPARATE THE NAPKIN S LAYERS?
Thank you! I've seen some tutorials where some crafters separate the napkins! I may have to give it a try! tfw, Tracey
Hi. Is this one ply table napkin? I have a pack of it. Pl do reply. I was afraid it may tear so i dropped the idea of decoupaging.
Because decoupage napkins are 3ply.
Thanks for showing me the way.
Pl reply is this regular paper napkin?
This is 2 ply I believe.
Thanks. So you didnt peel a layer. And can i suceed if i use single layer paper napkin the way u did?
This must be one of your first videos
Tracy how long does it take the Moshe Lodge to dry
+Tina Chauvin I usually let it dry for 24 hours, but it also depends on how thick you put it on and how many coats.
omg love it
+Danielle Dupre ❤🌲❤Thanks, Danielle!
is this a single ply napkin? I know we're always supposed to take out the top layer to decoupage
+The Hobby Hustle It's best to peel off the other layers to decoupage. This was my first project so I wasn't too sure how to do it. lol
Mine come out a little wrinkly too but I like it that way ;)
THANK YOU FOR YOUR ANSWER
Do you sell your projects?
I noticed that you didn’t take off the two layers of the napkin. Is there a reason not for removing the layers of tissue paper?
+Butters This was my first try with mod podging bottles. I've sure learned a lot since then...lol... Always remove the layers to prevent wrinkling and paint the bottle white before applying the mod podge and napkins.
GiftBasketAppeal thanks so much. Practice makes perfect! I have the same napkins. I’ll have to do this.
Why do you paint some of the bottles with white glossy paint in the beginning and others not?
+Marilyn Melendez-Gamble This was the first one I did, then I started painting it with white paint so the art on the napkin was more vibrant.
my wine bottle did not do well i did what you said to do on video
Keep trying. You will get better.
