Imagine being a man who has worked his whole life to build a family and future to just be told you now got to put that all on hold so you can take up arms and fight a war while your rich and politicians sit in the comfort of their own homes

expert would call it a past era , ppl thaught they don't have a smaller ball if they get cut , the guts that they got injected in army wasn't much , live ur whole life with a smaller ball , i quit school in 7 grade , and i don't think army makes a man maybe only by hes free will just like guts are by ones free will , u know dare.

Countries have a 15 days to report for service in case of issues or such. Hmm, I can see people from families with means moving overseas or becoming otherwise unavailable.
Oh what a shame, i just broke both my legs while sticking 100$ in my doctors pockets ... really wish i could ''serve'' as cannon fodder but fate had other plans for me :)

In the old days going through your compulsory service used to mean that by and large you came home having developed some self discipline and confidence in yourself, but that was before our militaries went woke.
No it was about drug and alchol abuse for 1 year.

Finland obviously has this for decades. In theory there's a reserve of 900,000 with military training, in practice we are talking 280,000 wartime troops. Still over twice the number UK has
@ChunkyWilly Russians remember painfully well, that half a million Soviet soldiers and million Soviet civilians died in WW2 on the Finnish front. They aren't looking for a replay of that.
The only place where there are mobilization is Russia, that's why young peoples is fleeing to Georgia, Turkey and other countries. EU didn't lost a single soldier so there's zero talk about military service.
I'm from Romania and 1000s of reservs were mobilized and they are bringing back the draft and mandatory millitary service, so please stop talking out of your a s s.
NATO will lost soldiers in a hypothetical conflict with Russia (andmaybe China). There will be a need for cannon fodder as in all large-scale wars.
Ukrainians are not infinite and this war will last a long time as they are saying
