I am not against machines but I think that the true luthier craft is gone nowadays with these things. Again the bass looks AMAZING but I think the true spirit is gone, almost nothing is hand made anymore, I don’t know the bass looks good but I don’t see a character maybe a soul in it, it’s like looking and talking to someone that looks human, perfect face, body everything is perfect but lifeless, you look through her eyes and see no personality, or purpose like a robot, of course it will serve its purpose, but I think what makes an instrument great and special is the way it was made. just by knowing there was a real skilled human behind every single detail of craftsmanship, perhaps thinking and meditating how he can put his best to shape a neck profile or carving a top with a chisel is priceless. My mom used to tell me that the difference between a meal at the restaurant and home was love, it could be the same meal with the same ingredients but it will taste different because it was made with love ... I don’t know perhaps I am drunk but I just wanted to leave this right here because at 12am there isn’t a lot to do. Thanks 🙏
All very quaint, but this is the 21st century. Machines do a much more precise and efficient job, and they do so consistently. You're romanticizing the instrument, overly so in my opinion, it doesn't have a "soul". What people call "soul" comes from the music that you make with the instrument, not the instrument itself. It's an inanimate object, only coming to "life" once a person starts playing on it. The luthier craft isn't gone, it's just evolved, as all things must. Handcrafting something today, where machines can do it better, is just an excuse to jack up the price.
Hello Jose, you can see all the specifications here : www.warwick.de/en/Warwick---Products--Instruments--Customshop---Masterbuilt--Basic-Bass-Models--Thumb-SC--Thumb-SC--Thumb-SC-5-String--Thumb-SC---16-3288--5-string--Pictures.html
p ,s what is about this semi telecaster body style s are they adamovic/abramovic stolen by warvick design or opposite// i like the mechanic fact that neck to body is as ,,coneected as possible ,and still playable but a bit too far gone,,
I have my own (WIDOW) headless design ...i was wondering if anyone would like to help pich in on one of the gratest basses on the planet ...WARWICK IS THE ONLY SUPREME MANUFACTURE i would have build such a very balenced bass it has a 37 scale. Its not made yet but it will have a very balenced nature...This bass is only for sirous musicians only ..aside from a very sinister looking instament. WARWIC is prime to deliver anuther world class insrament..
I think that when videos like this show all the time and labor that is invested in to making a bass or any instrument, it helps consumers better understand the cost associated with it at the store. Awesome video and beautiful work!
I have no idea why people put down CNC. It is more precise, repeatable. Handmade is a BS term that means absolutely nothing to me. Like anyone could tell in a blindfold test handmade vs CNC. The musician is still 75% of the equation, kids!
I don't see how the colored bits that make up the front are done. Also, how are the black pinstripe-like lines on the neck done? I've made some nice furniture, but this is outstanding!!
I've owned over 30 instruments over the past few decades. I've sold and traded a lot. My Warwicks stay with me. German engineered masterpieces that sound like no other. The best
Man, the music to this video if somehow became matter if would look like planetary procession. Huge rotating spheres a central, massive gravitational keeper of its celestial children.
Amazing video and soundtrack. Could you please clarify why do you drill after lacquering? Won't it crack? I thought that it's drilling first - finishing after. Thanks
The kind of instrument that invites you every touch to join the perfection of which it has been made of, to better music yourself. If I cry could I be gifted with such a jewel??? I would make it worthy to the last day of my soul. Ahahaha
Paul Evans I absolutely agree with you. Kind of looks and feels like plastic with that high gloss finish. With an oil finish the wood still feels like wood.
If you had that kind of bass - now I think there's this " there are x kind of people" thing happening... Would you ever play any other bass, or maybe, just feel guilty that your other basses might be jealous or, finally, just gaze at it in awe and keep it under glass in a cabinet or something ? x )
Wow. look at this sweet sexy Bass made from glass. Now I know why Damian music sound sexy,,sweet, awesome. Wish I could play, can’t get right hand to work. #1
Why can’t I Buy this bass it’s almost impossible to get through to Warwick, and the dealers in the states are no help. Does anyone own this and how did you get it?
ive played all kinda basses. but honestly when i play my warwick it makes me more accurate, faster and i even smell better. i won ever own any other bass besides it. this thing is so beautiful id be scared to play it outside my home, but id rather a six string.
I dont know how to play a bass, i dont even want to learn, but this is more than bass, for me it looks like a jewel, it is something so luxurious that it makes me want to have it.
There's only one thing I don't like about this bass, and that is I don't own it.
Me too!!
BUy iT, itS cHeAp
Hahaha that's so funny amigo
Probably the worse flaw about it i agree
Cara, que perfeição... Ta de parabéns,, sempre... Sucesso

I'd like to know the kind of woods that were used in this bass construction.

Bass porn at it's finest! :)
Yep😂
Nice to see someone at the shop take time to do a good set up on it and not just put it together and send it out.
maybe is just for the video to give this false idea
What a beautiful instrument. And the video quality is top notch. I would love to hear this one ;)

Excellent job, very beautiful guitar.
Super cool thanks for that.... sweet looking bass

Some of the most read things I've ever seen in my life !!!!!
Lúcio Gadelha (bass player) from Brazil
Man, the music to this video if somehow became matter if would look like planetary procession. Huge rotating spheres a central, massive gravitational keeper of its celestial children.
Can anyone suggest me is warick best for funky style and which model is best for funk
Bellissimo strumento ma che palle la parte musicale...avrei preferito sentire l'anima del fretless
Amazing video and soundtrack.
Could you please clarify why do you drill after lacquering? Won't it crack?
I thought that it's drilling first - finishing after.
Thanks
silmarilil UV cure finish is incredibly strong, and with good sharp bits and the luxury of washers, I doubt there's any cracking.
One word sums this up BEAUTIFUL !
Got my Jazz bass. Don't need this. Bit clownish anyway 🎯
Beautiful !
It warrants Gold Hardware !
👍👍👍💪
Should have been an oil finish, that gloss looks like epoxy.
I'm man enough to admit that that's far to nice a bass for me. But a dude can dream.
Is it really a single cut when you cut the neck glue the wings on and cut it again?
Neck definitely needs more laminates. Lol
*This body is similar to D'Mark Ômega of Brasil, SJC!
*Das körper ist ähnlich zu D'Mark Ômega aus Brasilien, SJC!
"A thing of beauty is a joy forever" - John Keats
The materials and finish are splendid. The shape is shit. :-) ;-)
Watching to this video is very pleasure

If I cry could I be gifted with such a jewel??? I would make it worthy to the last day of my soul. Ahahaha
The bass and the bass playing were magnificent. The music made this video. Well done, maestro
I think if I owned something this beautiful people would have to remind me to set it down and take time to eat.
me gusta demasiado. es una obra de arte
Magic was used in the creating off this flowing sound device {§}
nice music background, love it.
When I watched this video with the sounds executable on this instrument, I almost cried and even more wanted to buy some Warwick bass.
Didn't know about fretless basses now i do and I like it
That is serious detailing and close to perfection as one can get in a beautiful bass build.
Umas das coisas mais lidas que já vi na minha vida!!!!!
Lúcio Gadelha ( baixista) do Brasil
I’m looking for the sight where I can get one
Now throw some frets on it and we got a deal!!!
Name of the music?
Thx!
I want one!!!.....but can't afford it!!
This is still my favourite video on youtube xD
Looks almost like polished granite
Why am i in love with Single Cut basses? :))))
Because they are beautiful !
It's a matter of individual taste, I still find them oddly proportioned.
such great basses, wish I could get used to the blocky neck
cnc is such a wonderful thing
Looks a lot like a Stradi from Poland.
Is it wrong that I drooled the whole time?
Why spray gloss on wood that's so beautiful on its own ? Some natural oil would be better.
Paul Evans I absolutely agree with you. Kind of looks and feels like plastic with that high gloss finish. With an oil finish the wood still feels like wood.
I prefer the gloss look because it makes that beautiful top really pop.
If you had that kind of bass - now I think there's this " there are x kind of people" thing happening... Would you ever play any other bass, or maybe, just feel guilty that your other basses might be jealous or, finally, just gaze at it in awe and keep it under glass in a cabinet or something ? x )
Hermoso, beatifull mastersssss😍

I love to have one of these
I'm losing my shit at how absolutely fucking gorgeous this instrument is.
THIS IS THE WAY, A SILENT PATH OF BEAUTY AND DIGNITY. THE CONSTRUCTION OF A TEMPLE FOR THE SOUL.
this is damn near porn
beautiful bass....
Very impressive it should be able to play itself for $ 8000.00 approx.
Àng.probenciiano
