The videos you created for us for our wedding were exceptional, and any couple will be lucky to have you (and Alice) filming and piecing together their weddings. Aw thank you so much, having my daughter really made me really think more about my life. Before my daughter I was working full time in London commuting 3 hours a day and never thought my life would be where it is now! I wish you both all the best and happiness too!
Inspiring video, thanks for uploading! I'm in a similar situation having a 2yo at home, now to somehow find a way to get my first few clients and start working for myself. Would love to hear more about how you landed your first few gigs and steps you took to fill out 2024 with bookings. Great work!
Thank you so much for commenting and I'm glad you enjoyed the video. I did my first wedding 2022 and just started offering videography packages quite cheap to try and get my first few bookings. I did about 6 in 2022 and the raised my prices slightly for 2023 but still was under about 1k per wedding. I was mostly posting in Facebook groups and trying grow on Instagram. We were getting married at the time and my wife was in lots of bride Facebook groups so she would tag my whenever someone was looking for a videographer. This helped get my name out there and got me a few bookings.
