A new movie based on the broadway musical was supposed to be made, but was canceled. If they had done it again, I would have loved to see Jim Carrey as the patient. He would have gave a great comedic performance just for one scene. Bill Murray did a good job with it too.

Nicholson getting cast as the joker 30 years later was honestly just a recognition on how amazing a 23 year old Nicholson joker would've been. Still great, but you see the Joker in him in this. Its blends his comedic style with some of heath's darkness.

Loved this film. It's hard to believe the same guy who wrote this would go on to write Death Race 2000, a film so bad it was funny as hell. Man I hope they do a remake of Little Shop that's more like this one and not a musical.
