I ❤the BMW! The original Superfast 3.0 CSL was introduced in 1976; it was orange as well and had opening doors. Majorette did a 3.0 with opening doors in the early '70s. It was a more accurate casting than the MB. It's great that the tailgate on the Audi is metal with a plastic window rather than all-plastic.
I'll take the Porsche in every color.

The large opening door gaps on the Tesla are just high accuracy to the real car.

I saw 2024 Mix A Matchbox moving parts at my local Walmart store today!! Unfortunately they left only the green GMC Hummer ev truck behind.

The new packaging for the, Matchbox series moving parts is fo da birdz, yo.
They probably sacrificed the rear detailing on the Ranger to put the logo on the front and give the other castings like the BMW and the Porsche more details.
The Porsche just looks amazing. The BMW CSL reminds me of the Volvo 240.
Looking forward to collect that Porsche, such a beauty!

That Porsche 356A looks stunning!!! I Love that they detailed the engine as well. And the Audi C8 RS6, I’ve been looking forward to that one. I was hoping for a piano black color as well as the base to be black to complement the body color and the interior too. However I can live with the tan interior. And some black wheels to go murdered out on the Audi.
I hope one day metal bases will return to MBX as well as in HW premium lines. That I miss.
However I like the HW Audi C7 RS6 better. Maybe it’s because I like the previous generation of Audi RS6 better. It’s not as aggressive looking and more toned down and therefore more a sleeper IMO.
Just great models. I have found also the Pagani Super Chase model. The only one i miss here is the BMW😊. I will make a video soon.

Loving the Audi but yes that Porker is an awesome model! I had the lesney BMW and believe it also was bright orange. Bimmer was a very short and stubby model if memory serves.

The 1970’s Mercury Villager from Matchbox does not have one for example.

Yesterday found a few models from batch A and it looks like they are not numbered on the package like in previous years. The models looks great and even the package is surprisingly much better quality than expected.
I love the BMW but the quality of finish on the model was not up to the Matchbox standard as compared to the Porsche 356. The paint and chrome on the wheels were off like what you see on HW basics.

Good to see the Audi RS6 Avant has textured front grille, unlike the Hot Wheels printed version, which I think was awful!
I think the package artwork with the arrows indicating how each vehicle opens is misleading as none of them opens up as far as what’s shown.

Of everything the BMW is the coolest....but....I do have the old casting...& not much has changed...except for the opening hood/engine detail....
But but but.....I'd much rather prefer they do the late 60's bmw 2000cs casting....with the big headlights....an Alpina would be Superb....cause then I it'll match my real '67 Alpina E9 🤗

You should compare that Porsche to the Hot Wheels version.
@3:39 Yea, but Teslas are well known for their massive panel gaps so the Matchbox model just adds to the realism.
Perhaps Matchbox should go back to the boxes used with the old Premier models similar to those used with the original Matchbox models

BMW: they should have made the bumpers part of the interiour and use the same colour for body and base to make it more realistic. Porsche: what´s with the missing bit of body beneath the hood? Audi: could have a better exhaust, like on the MB 560 from HW. Tahoe: too small.
Kudos for the Porsche and the BMW witch is my favorite and the most beautiful BMW ever.

I don’t like the moving parts series because they are very, very hard to get here in the Netherlands. When I see the opening tailgate of the Audi I think what’s the use for opening parts when it opens just a few millimeters. But then again, that’s the burden of the European collector.
BMW casting is nice, but poor choice of colour and wheels a touch too big...

I feel a bit sorry for the current generation, he loves black and gray blobs like Audi wagons, take a look at wagons from the 70’s to the 50’s, that was style.
The Porsche was the best casting, too bad the BMW back half was flubbed, does not have the right lean and trunk length, they made it too stubby in the rear half. SUV’s and trucks are nearly indistinguishable from others, so sad.
