His setup makes it so they don't feel the need to hide. Since the boxes will pile up, one will kinda make the hide for the one that's sitting below, so...
That's the way people who comercially breed snakes do, and also, if the snakes REALLY feel the need to hide they'll usually hide under the paper and it works just as much

Please listen and watch the entire video carefully before you comment about the bins for the snakes. He stated they are temporary and that he will be adding water dishes and already knows to add other things such as a hide and a rock to help shred. These aren't his first snakes, he's posted lots of snake videos on his channel before and they were really taken care of. Just because he didn't mention the specific items doesn't mean he won't do it. I understand and i actually appreciate some of the comments saying " when you put them in their full set up " as recommendations, but the ones that say hes not taking care of them and that they know better, clearly don't because they couldn't understand two simple statements he made in this video. " Temporary " and that he WILL be adding more to the bins. You also clearly don't see apparently, there is ALREADY a rock in the original bin they were in together, so if you think you know better... why didn't you take note of this? The people who are actually trying to give decent advice, thank you, i am sure he appreciates it. The others acting as if he has no idea how to care for snakes, rewatch the video.

he has done plenty wrong already.. the way he cut the eggs.. he also never researched the morphs he wanted to breed which could have ended badly for the baby snakes as some morphs cannot be bred together and it creates genetic problems. And these tiny containers with just paper isnt correct either.. he doesnt really care for his animals its just for money at this point or he would have done the proper research.. he also dramatizes his videos and often puts his spiders at risk of either getting lost / killed..

Looks to me he did some research, just because he didn't find it all out doesn't mean he deserves to be treated as if hes a horrible keeper, just help him out by giving him the advice he needs. Everyone starts somewhere and you're not going to get anywhere if you don't start. A lot of snake keepers for the first time aren't going to get it all right either, over time they'll learn more and with the help of people giving advice, they'll know what to do next time. Paper is used usually with new/young snakes so you can monitor when they poop and “pee”. If it’s a new snake, you can also more easily find any mites that have fallen off the snake (if it has any). For those with large collections of snakes, it’s easier to replace paper every few days versus doing a full substrate replacement every month (that’s if you don’t have a bioactive set up). Also some snakes are prone to eating substrate which can cause impaction so to avoid that risk, some keepers like to just use paper even if it’s not the “prettiest” look to an enclosure.
All in all, it’s basically to simplify the care of the snake.

Guys please I need help! I bought a gooty sapphire tarantula, I'm new to this, it's a sling, I keep it healthy, fed, watered, I also bought a Costa Rican zebra knee and a Asian fawn, however the gooty is on its back not moving, at all! Has anyone got any idea what could be happening? I believe it could be a molt, but I'm quite scared for it. It moves a tad when I blow on it, so it does respond. I don't want it to die. Please can someone help.

The snakes need hides and enrichment. I've seen many breeders and that's not really a good setup. With the paper you could have problems they cut themselfs. Put a stone for sheeding in ther (not a sharp one). Would recommend for you to buy Aspen Wood Shavings. Please upgrade your baby snake care. Babies are looking healthy so compliment on that.
Good luck and have a nice day!
