I actually dont use one because i dont fall on my head anyways but I've been skating since i was 7 and im 30 years old i find they throw off my balance, i mean why not wear a helmet when i had to pay $300 in no helmet fines anyways from HRPD. It's actually illegal to skate outside the designated areas in HRM anyways so no point in following the helmet law either. They gave me another fine one time top skating on the sidewalk from Constable Ash Lewis $200 later yikes google it he was a dirty cop in hrm that fined me for skateboarding he got caught placing evidence too so dirty cop there but my dad already paid my fines.

I got one but i only use it in the bowl no point otherwise i find they throw off your balance for tricks
