This line is POWERFUL. Gurranq can't understand why you of all people would do this, since you've been one of the few helping him. But his duty comes first.
I remember thinking that Malekith was very unfair until, on the try where I won, something clicked and I understood how to dodge all of his moves except for the sword slam that summons a flurry of Black Blade slashes, which I could only sometimes dodge. Mistakes were very heavily punished, but were balanced by all but one of his attacks being easily dodged once you learn them. Such a good fight that I would've been satisfied with Malekith being the final boss
That ominous tone upbeat at 4:59 is so badass idk why, always sets the stage for the shit that's about to unfold Btw it's a shame we can't get his robes, the armor is cool but his robes are mad drip too
As an ost junkie I feel really bad cause my first play through I forgot to even listen to the music of this fight because I had 2 very powerful summons cheese this boss in less than 4 minutes. Wasn't until my ps4 broke and I had to get a ps5 that I started Elden Ring from scratch again. I actually SOLO'D this boss because i learned it's the most fun that way. That was when I finally listened to this beautiful boss theme that gives me an atherial feeling like no other. Makes me think of God, the heavens and what lies beyond death its so fugging cool Edit: this boss completely melts to the lightning spear incantation also his moves are extremely easy to memorize and dodge
"Tarnished? Why wouldst thou....why...."
"... tis no matter. I hereby vow, that Destined Death shall not be stolen again."

😢
Heavily ominous, yet serenely beautiful at the same time.
Doggo in a nutshell :,)
I find it melancholic and sad, almost like a final act of the Farum Azula ambience
1:53 oh MAN that little piano bit is so haunting, i love it!

👍
It feels sad

A fitting choir for a forgotten shadow
Sadly he didn't seek the Albinauric woman who resides in a cave west of the mist-laden woods that jut from the Laskyar Ruins
Hi, Gideon
My spine is tickling

I like that the theme song of Crumbling Farum Azula is a prelude to this song, which is a prelude to the 2nd face.

If he does that move then you just dodge behind hin
Honestly maliketh is powerful enough to be the final boss but u gotta get his rune so he’s not

thats my favorite part too
I found that the clothes from patches chest is somewhat close
I'm suprised that people don't often point out how sick gurranq's drip is.
nothing in the game quite gives you that brutal warrior-monk look
Thank You. I was looking for a comment that understood
Favorite part. So eerie yet calm.
1:07 something about this part really says it all
Man, maliketh is such a climactic boss he feels like he should be the final boss of er’s dlc, give him more health/poise and he’s perfect for it
absolutely beautiful theme, wish more people appreciate this part of the theme because it is gorgeous
I love this... It's oddly relaxing.
Beautiful.

I cannot un-hear "O' Marika" 3:19
Is that what the chior is actually saying?
@@entermusic93 dunno. It just sounds like it to me. I heard somewhere the lyrics are just Latin words without any particular meaning, but idk
@@joevaghn457 not words but sounds. Think of the choir as another instrument. The sounds don't have meaning
I shall not part with it again
