    Hi is a good or bad grinder? Is better then grinder hario? Can recomend for prench fress or moka?

    • @deckwithmatter
      @deckwithmatter 3 роки тому +1

      Hey, I will help you out.
      it's a good entry level grinder. It can be use for all kind of brewing techniques but not consistent enough for espresso. It should be better than Hario since C2 is using stainless steel burr compare to Hario which is ceramics.

      @@rolandocalderonguerra2346 There is a user manual that comes in the box. You can see the clicks you need for each of brewing method to get the grinds.

    IS this as stupid idea or could you just replace the adjuster with a nut to make this a stepless grinder? the steps are only integrated in the knob itself, so raplcing is with an nut should take away the steps right?
    Is this possible?, because I feel like it should, but then someone should have done it already right? Please someone let me know

    • @rajasimalakama
      @rajasimalakama  3 роки тому

      Yes you can change the adjuster with a nut. But little bit hard to find grind size setting and sometimes the nut loosing the grip when you spin the handle. That's make your grind size unevenly.
      Thx for watching my video. 🙏

      Saw on Reddit someone took a ball punch to add steps in between the dots on the inner ring. Not stepless, but definitely would allow some finer tuning of the grind.

    Is the click true to the manual? I just purchased and my C2 gets a coarse grind at 40+ clicks to get a decent French Press. Do you think I got a faulty product? Have you experienced something like that?

    • @magicskater182
      @magicskater182 3 роки тому +5

      The manual itself doesn't say much really, I would say that you try what's best for you, maybe this will help, but keep in mind the roast of the coffee and its freashness to make ajustments to the recipe.
      Moka pot < 14
      V60 14 - 24
      Batch brew 20 - 30
      French press > 30

      I usually do it every 2 weeks, but I really feel like cleaning it when opening a new package of beans so different flavors don't get mixed

    • @PirhotNababan

      I usually clean my C2 after 1kg of beans. Roughly once a month. But if I want to change to different beans, then I do it before grinding new type of beans.

Speaking of your method to use unused bean, it is unpractical for me especially this is for home use and I drink coffee everyday.
