- My review of the Godox Audio MoveLink II M2 wireless microphone, which was supplied to me by Godox but made clear to them it would be my honest and truthful review, which it is.

Comparing this with hollyland m1 for indoor cooking videos where I will talk nothing more and saw both videos and didn't know which to buy, thr hollyland is cheaper but both almost the same price
This is the first product review I've ever seen that included a quotation from Shakespeare. Love it! 👍
🤣🤣
It is good to demonstrate culture and education. 😂
Oh, I wish you could lock or screw the lav mic into the socket so you don't pull it out by accident.
Hello. Thank you for your nice and detailed review. I bought this microphone from Godox website, in STERO mode B transmitter is disabled, only A transmitter works. Both work in mono mode. I asked Godox and they said that you need an external sound card (professional) for stereo recording. It is not possible to record in stereo on a normal mobile phone or computer. Have you experienced such a problem in stereo mode? Respects
Hi. What they are referring to is that the standard microphone input on mobile phones is mono, as it is designed only for making telephone calls which are mono. I assume you are connecting the output of the Godox receiver (3.5mm stereo) into your phone (may be 3.5mm or if iPhone it would be Lightning) using an adapter cable. These are inherently mono. However, what should be recorded, I think, is a mono mix of both channels but it depends how the adapter cable is configured. Most mobile phones do not offer stereo mic inputs hence your problem. This mic is designed to be used with a camera or camcorder with a stereo mic input.
Thank you sir this is what we can call a product review
every aspect of the product from a user's perspective is covered in a very nice way
thanks again
regards
Glad you liked it
I have joined this channel cause its you from the cannel boat !!! love your commentary
😀😀
Godox Movelink II + Sony ECMLV1 = Perfect Sound !!!
A better mic won't eliminate any inherent electrical noise within the transmitter or receiver but will certainly give a more pleasant recording.
Hello can you connect a 3.5mm to xlr cable to use this system with a professional Sony camcorder?
Yes as long as it's wired correctly and obviously the signal won't actually be balanced but it can work in terms of connecting them up
So I guess you would want to amplify the sigal as close to the source as possible to avoid amplifying noise.
When I attach the lav mic to my first gen Rode wireless go, I get a a too high noise floor. But I can remove it with the the Noise Isolation filter in Final Cut that apparently uses machine learning.
Yes, I use DaVinci Resolve 18 which has an amazing "AI" noise remover but I'd prefer not to have to use it, better to start with clean audio
@@TubeShooterMag that is the ideal. Better get it right from the start than try fixing it in post. It is hard to repair what isn’t there because of poor source material.
Solid review, thoroughly appreciated.
Thank you 😊
Is the godox visro m2 better?
I have not used it so cannot comment.

Ok can you pls help telling me how to open audio filesnon sd card in the mic which has .txt extension, I bought the visro but I don't know how to extract the audio files recinfo.txt
A .txt file is text not audio. The files created depend on what recorder / camera you're using.
@@TubeShooterMag there is thr place in the mic to put your SD card and record directly from mic not on camera
But when I open this file I only found a txt file according to godox website RECORD" folder in the USB drive is the recording folder. The "RECINFO" TXT format document is the recording file. You cannot record while the USB drive is open, and likewise, you cannot open
I will try again now and update you and many thanks for your reply
As I mentioned at the start, I have not used the Visro M2 so I can’t sensibly offer advice on it.
Any thoughts on the Fulaim X5?
I'm not aware of it so can't sensibly comment, sorry
Can you use just one mic at a time or do you need to use both?
You can just use one if you like
Can this be used in dji osmo camera 3?
Only if the Osmo has a 3.5mm mic jack
