Yes, that is totally true and I actually like the sound coming from it as well. And the fact that nothing is an extra, all is literally included straight out of the box :)
I have this mic and to me this is more than enough for UA-cam videos , it's just that some people sometimes measure quality through the price. The higher the price doesn't mean that it's always better. Rode has been around for some time and has built the large clientele over the years . I also have the 😮Rode Videomic go ii. If I play the sound from both without mentioning which one is from either mic , no one can tell . Nice video .
