Judie Tzuke was on my playlist back in 81/82 all the way to 89 when I left UK (very worn cassettes and a brick of a Walkman knockoff)... took a few years, sorry decades off, and have been coming back to her music and exploring the wider catalogue of this prolific songwriter. Belted out Official Bootleg at the top of my lungs hiking in the pouring rain just over a week ago on the Yorkshire Coast. Back on the downloaded playlists. Wished I had seen the 80s band lineup back then. Will try and check out Judie's daughters' material too.
This was the song and performance that had me fall in love with this beautiful woman and her beautiful voice! Still send shivers through me when I hear this. Have all of her albums on vinyl and CD and have seen her several times over the years in Liverpool London and Southport. Love this song and her live performances of it, never miss a note!!
This song means so much to me as I devoted my whole life to my mother I never known or experienced a lady staying with me until dawn 🌅 cheers Stephen ✌️✌️✌️✌️
Had a HUGE poster of Jude on my wall for YEARS until it fell apart (like me) BEAUTIFUL voice of an Angel.............. I was a DJ back in the day in a night club and this was a SUPERB much requested song for the 'smoochies' at the end of the night....no one ever stayed with me 'til dawn though😔
Been a fan since I saw her at the Grand Theatre, Leeds, oh so many decades ago. Her support group were a small band called Graduate, they later morphed into Tears For Fears. Wonder what happened to them, Judie is still rocking on.
I was on the cusp of becoming a teenager.. but I knew .. I knew from that moment ,no matter where my music taste was going to take me in later years.. i was gonna be a slave to love songs ..before this 10cc , heatwave, my guilty pleasures , and wasn't she fucking gorgeous
Santa and a butch pubescent lesbian were imprisoned in a glass ball and told that they would not be released unless they stood quietly and listened to Judy singing. Weird stuff like this often happened in the 1970s.
Very beautiful song with a great artist
Seen her and her daughter Cobham about 3 weeks ago absolutely stunning voices and still beautiful
Beautiful song!!!
Absolutely stunningly beautiful 😍 🤩
Love you Jude.

Judie Tzuke! Still the best and still going strong. Bless you and your talented daughters as well, nowadays.
Such a lovely song, sung by such a great singer. This brings back many memories of being a teenager in the 1970's.
In 1979 Judy tzuke was the most stunningly beautiful women and what an incredible song
Such a classic. Still holds up well
The lyrics mean so much to me. E. I. S. F. P. as this tune is.

One of the most beautifully haunting, heart felt songs of pain. Evokes the emotions big time
Oh wow! Takes me straight back to my early 20s in York, England and the fantastic friends
I made there - such evocative memories
Happy birthday for today Judie.
Love Judie
Wow she was absolutely gorgeous 😍
She still is Sean.

They're still going strong as well. They released a brilliant new album, The Tipping Point, in 2022.
One of our favourite songs, lucky enough to see you in Birmingham some years back. Lovely memories.

Sound from heaven. She's like an angel . Pure deep, warm voice.

Judie and music is the only consolution for this very poor video

One of the better sounds and memories of my younger days.
an absolute classic for all time.what a tune this is
Hauntingly beautiful
One of the greatest love songs ever written.
Amazing 😍 what a beauty
Such a beautiful song, but what on earth is going on with Father Christmas and the kid in sunglasses inside the snow globe?
Santa and a butch pubescent lesbian were imprisoned in a glass ball and told that they would not be released unless they stood quietly and listened to Judy singing. Weird stuff like this often happened in the 1970s.
Honestly suprised Judie wasnt corpsing at them. Must have been pretty hard to concentrate on singing when the fake snow blew over them.
Awesome Tom Bingham
Why are Paul Muggleton and Mike Paxman standing in a big bubble? :D
Nice, she reminds me of Taylor Swift here.
Haven't seen this performance before, where is it from? x
Not live but great
They could've spelled her name correctly.
Creepy people in the bubble
Bad audio. No top and phasey through multiple generation copies.
