As a truck driver I can vouch for that company I've been battling NPC known as nasal cancer and they have done wonders for me and my family while I've had to take time off for treatments it's a legit company and I appreciate everything they've done
I love that color combination with the white wagon wheels. Could be a rare truck! So nice of you to have Oliver at your home, we have a child who has similar equipment and requires 24 hour care. I am sure you are a real help to his family. God Bless.
Oh my word, this one is in the top 5 best Sleeperdude vids of all time. Opening the salad dressing jar, one of the best things ever!! And the ten year old in me loved poor WaWa getting her nose greased. I wouldn't have been able to help myself in that situation either. Those old trucks were definitely set up to be hosed out, for sure. The paint back then was completely different as well, so it held up to the elements like nothing does today. A little polish and buff action would have it looking show room new! Thanks for another incredibly funny and fun Sleeperdude vid!! Strong work Sleeperdude fam.
Great save..and truly worth the effort to fixer up..that style is really popular and before all the computer nonsense under the hood. Appreciate all you do and as always a fun video. Continued prayers and success for your channel.
This is indeed a family site. Everyone gets involved. I love it. Even the animals get involved. The goat thinks he is human. lol Keep the videos coming. I look forward to everyone of them.
I'd get a hood for it make it a flatbed and just use it. That green floor under the seat seems kinda out of place for the truck. But in the 70's avocado green which that floor is was a very big thing. I know I lived thru it. I'll bet that was a sharp looking truck when it was brand new. Not really a chevy/gmc guy but it was someone's pride and joy.
You guys are amazing. Teaming up with a sponsor like that is amazing. I'm an OTR truck driver and honestly your guys videos make my life a little easier. I love watching your videos at night before I go to sleep. It's like a bring a little homeyness to my truck. Thanks guys and keep it up.
Take the ford galaxy wagon body and draft it to the gmc 4x4 frame. Then whole family could go off road.rocky too.would make one wild fun video.great content as well.
Cool seeing Ralphie working, bout the age I started letting my boys dig into projects and help me out. Glad I did, now that they're older they can handle their own, both have ASE certs and both are active A.F. if they get out they're gonna be fine. My youngest is a master diesel tech and works refueling trucks and fire trucks. Loves his job, he's saved my butt a few times in my old Ram 2500. Good day to view your latest video as we are getting our first snow of the season at 22 degrees. No outside power washing going on up here. Glad to see that the frame is still solid on the old GMC. You will have to put some time and effort into fixing it up but with reproduction body panels available you could still make a good farm truck out of it. Keep us advised on your progress.
I was surprised how well it drove once you got it out of the creek, it's funny while you were pressure washing the pass door one of the rust spots looks like a 4 legged animal, i don't know how easy it'd be to find a tranny for it, you might have to rebuild the current one. Enjoyed the video, back in the late 60's you could find those pepsi coke etc bottles and get like 5 cents when you turned them in @ a grocery store, so that was extra penny candy for me.

Save that rectangular piece of metal. I think its a plow shear. If it is its super hard steel good for making heads for chisels or knife blades. I've watched my dad use them to cut tops out of oil barrels back when they were twice the gauge we see today. Short handled slege and a plow shear (share), 5 min later - trash barrel.
I had a 1979 4WD. I would replace the hubs with locking hubs if you plan on going any long distance. It would be a great yard plow truck. I'd sell you a 9' Minute Mount plow but I'm in Maine.
