- Customer changes his mind at the last minute. Can we build him a new pair of custom forks in time?
I'm Paul Gibson, head frame builder here at Ellis Briggs.

Pure joy to watch. Makes me appreciate my own hand built steel frame even more.
Great video, great work thanks for sharing it with us.
Another really interesting video. It's fascinating to see you at work. The forks look lovely and a great soundtrack too.
Glad you enjoyed it
Excellent work.
Great video!
Love the process.
Hey, I went to Doug Fattic's class. I think he was trained at EB. Question on the lathe setup for turning the race. What did you use on the bottom site of the crown to hold it?
Hi, yes that's correct. I use a mandrel, turned down to fit the internal diameter, then pressure from the tailstock and light cuts. It saves some filing and wear on my crown race seat cutter. I usually turn it down until its slight oversized and then finish off with my Campag crown race seat cutter

Probably not the best way of contacting you? I have a 953 frame with a polished rear triangle fitted with a carbon fork. Do you build 953, or equivalent forks?
Thanks.
Hi, thanks for reaching out. It would be best to have a quick chat on the phone. Email me at paul@ellisbriggscycles.co.uk with your contact number and a good time to call and I can find out a bit more about your requirements.
