There is an elephant in the room and no one is talking about it and more so in the ecclesiastical circles because people are in denial that there is an ongoing problem. I'm a Black American who loves the Lord and is a member of the Presbyterian Church. The issues I have is that though the choir is integrated that talented Black singer only gets to sing lead when the song is a spiritual although the singer is very versatile in the ability to perform music of other genres but is only typecast as a "Black singer". They talk about sensitivity training and race awareness in the secular work places but you never see it in the church especially those larger churches that draw major crowds and whose ministry is expansive but you don't see people of color in the administrative operations of the church.

I do not agree that an awards show is a place to make a political statement - regardless of your race or ethnicity. This is not about diversity. The fact that KF won twice shows the diversity of the awards. I'm sad to hear that this is within our Christian community. I'm also sad that Tony Evans is part of the coverage because i see God working so significantly in his ministries and those of his family members. I will be praying for this attack by satan. The only division there is in the Bible is that of the people of Yah and the worshippers of Baal/The kingdom of light and the kingdom of darkness/Those who follow the Lord/Those who love this world/The sheep and the goats/Those who accept or reject His Son.
