BTW...that Running With The Phaser preset is stereo and has the delay/reverb panned to one side, while he's running mono out to an amp in the room...so he couldn't hear the effecs.
The wood grain has a playboy bunny with his jaw dropped!! So cool!!
Wow! Never noticed that before! 🤯🙌🎸🔥
Phil X is an absolute force of nature! His excitement and energy is so contagious. Awesome!
I couldn’t agree with you more! 🙌🎸🔥
So awesome. Such a monster on guitar.
Phil sounds phenom on anything!
Except the tonemaster
That looks Fun and sounds Great !
Phil X = The Man.
Amazing sounds . And pure food fun !!
Love Phil’s playing and he seems to be having no issues at all sounding dam good on this thing👍
Always fun hearing Phil X play. Just subscribed!
Phils always Entertaining
When Phil X plays i watch.
Everyone bagging on the TM Pro...I think it's KILLER!!! Yeah, it's not cheap, but you get what you pay for... I love the touch screen, the controls, the UI... The amps sound more open (Line 6 just a bit compressed feeling..) They already have a crap ton of updates coming for Namm... WANT!!!!!!!!! (..and I'm a Kemper Boogie guy!!)
I have a Helix, a Kemper and the TMP. I pick the TMP any day.
Cool, how do you know there are updates coming for Namm?
Most of the people bagging on the TMP are the helix/ fractal user's. I own both of those and Just recently bought the tone Master pro and to my ears They all sound close but the TMP wins in the user experience hands down.
@@stringsattached67 It's alos just the beginning. The upgrade and feature capability that lies within the unitare untapped. Fender has the know how and the $$ to back this unit. The UI alone is so enticing.
@@stringsattached67 Absolutely. I own the Helix and Kemper.. TMP wins in UI all day and the tones sound like a...Helix or Kemper.
I’m pretty sure Phil could nail a board to a metal bucket, put six strings on and make it sound good.
Love Phil x. He’s real. Got passion
Phil's the joy of music personified.
"Thanks Phil for setting up the best patch/algo this thing could do," says the next guy who walks in and buys it.
Talk about a Fender Bender 😂👍
Check out Pete Thorn. He does an in depth demo of the FenderTone Master Pro
Phil can make an overripe banana sound great.
My fender cyber twinn amp does it all
Fan of Phil X... the Drills and Powder.
Just getting back to him since Fretted Americana...
Where is he on UA-cam these days?
He has a channel called "everyone can find Phil X by typing his name in the search bar and 300,000 videos pop up within 3 seconds" He has another channel for "slow people" called "if you can't type PHil X in the search bar then hit the "mic" button on your phone and say, "Does Phil X have a youtube channel?" and then about 350,000 videos pop up. Click on any one of those 300,000+ videos and you can see Phil X doing Phil X things.
Phil X could make a $99 Hello Kitty guitar sound awesome! Tried the Fender Tonemaster Pro, a little too digitized for my taste even though I’m using the Helix with the Powercab. Maybe as Phil X suggested, running into the effects return on an amp. Ran the Helix into a Fender Super Sonic 100 Twin that way and it was amazing, way too loud but amazing.
@@NS-tc9kk I got to confess, there are times when I feel that way too. But sometimes that setup kills it. That’s the cool thing about searching for “the tone”, it’s the feeling you get when you find it at the right moment, it can come with any gear you have. And yeah tube amps rule!
That's a updated M-audio Black Box Uploaded ,
What are players’ feelings about replacing a traditional pedal board with the TMP? I just bought a nice Marshall combo so I don’t want to replace it with the Fender cab.
Keep the Marshall, buy a TMP and a set of PA speakers that are FR capable (Mine are Yorkville YXL10). My rig is VERY loud and it is stereo! It is replacing an EVH 5150III and Dual Recto amp/cab. The tone is exactly the same as my former amps.
Sounds like me recording at home with my iPhone over on the counter. Maybe I missed the point of this, but I was curious to hear the unit-but that audio was terrible.
I don’t know why he would do that.
was he running that into a real silverface fender?
But the price😳
Jfc iits amazing to me how advanced the technology is but we still place it in the floor so we have to fkn bend down to f with it. Put it on a table for Christ sake.
I'll never understand why Fender uses the name of "tone master" one of the best sounding custom shop amps... to make these...
The video is moot until we understand the cab/powered speaker/amp, etc. we’re hearing the Tone Master through.
Plugged into a valve amp ...
His playing is great but the TM is just too digital. Great idea but that punch from Phil and his pedal are much better. Tube is too awesome. Keep theTM
Sounded like a wet blanket was over the amp- bad...not in a good way. His playing is always great. I will stick with Fractal.
Great sounds, but overpriced compared to other multieffects out there...
Its noisy!
This modeler has a long way to go before it’s going to be ready for prime time. The tones are just not there…even with the Fender models! Fender is coming late to the modeler party…the big boys, Line 6 and Fractal, are WAY ahead by years! This thing sounds like a Headrush MX5 but costs as much as a Fractal FM9!
You’re wrong
Have you spent any serious time with a TMP? You can't just listen to the presets and leap to a conclusion at to how it sounds. I'm really liking mine, but its take A LOT of tweaking to get the amps to sound good to my ears. I'm just using it for direct recording in my studio.
Have you played through it?? I thought the same thing, but when I played through it myself, I think it's a lot closer and actually better in some ways..It did seem like it was released before they had it all loaded up , so to speak...
They're updating it in Jan for Namm.
@@sb6232 Yes I have. A friend bought one and was having a hard time developing quality presets so he asked that I attend his band’s practice last week. I am a 70 year old professional gigging and recording guitarist and audio engineer. I have over 57 years of experience in dialing-in physical and digital amps/cabs and effect units. We were not able to develop the tones he and his band mates were looking for with the Fender TMP. Two days later he returned the TMP and has purchased a used FM9. Fender has a LONG way to go before their TMP will be able to compete with Line 6 and Fractal modelers, especially since they priced the TMP at the same price point as established, well developed modelers.
@@sinnertrain7405 Please see my other posts in this thread so I don’t have to repeat myself.
all his tweaking and toggling - sounds all the crappy same to me? not his playing. just the product
Phil X 🤮🤮🤮🤮
