Taco, you need to take a photo of the birdseye chest, polish it up and show it to an antique shop or consignment shop - that piece of furniture is worth over $500, you are under valuing the pieces you find. BTW the Betsey Johnson handbag should be given to a consignment shop also, her handbags go for about 60 dollars at TJ Maxx, but some collectible ones could go even higher.

For example, you could be handling purses or clothing that’s worth real $$$ and not realize it. That’ll help you learn the value of female stuff for later. Those little purses with the sewing stuff and other small items are called coin purses or change purses. We ladies carry a bunch of them in our handbags for change and other small items that would otherwise roll around loose.
The red frame looking thing with all the wierd objects in it like the creepy tiny baby doll is actually a Mixed Media Shadow Box piece. You have a lot of mixed media supplies in that locker. The large tubes of acrylics are not cheap because the brand isn't a bad one and the size of the tubes bring in a higher price.

The best part of this video when you where unpacking the kitchen misc. box and it was mostly Christmas items, but the look on your face when you pulled out the red shadowbox with all the stuff glue on the inside including the little plastic box. Your look was to die for!!!!
You'll definitely get your money back and then some, things to donate such as the bible, books etc. This was a well organized, clean unit (mattress is what it is) and for me personally the downside is thinking of the person whose life was brought here, we can only hope the best for them with positive vibes. I had drove passed this little muddy jagged logging road half the winter on a 4wheeler. Its kind of a creepy looking tree. Its so knobby a knarled, i seen why its prized in furniture, its got to be hard to plane out the lumber planks. Then to just cutting it down the chainsaw must run into some hard knots the kickback on the saw would be a bit of a challenge for the loggers.

How to sell pieces of jewelry? Maybe mount them on a display board for the flea market. Cover it with black velvet so the pieces stand out. If you have a lot now or expect in the future maybe pickup a jewelry display case from a store closing. Easier for customers to see and attractive instead of digging through a box of stuff. Books: - "Sewing Techniques" Didn't you find a Singer sewing machine in the garbage a day or two ago? Maybe next video: "Sewing with Taco." - Anything Greatful Dead (like Elvis) sells. That chest could be worth a lot more than $45.

Windsor Newton has several levels of quality ranging from student to professional with an affordable option in between... but are overall a well known brand. Old textbooks aren't worth much but craft and sewing and how to stuff can sell well, coffee table books can do okay. Craft and painting supplies too. Acrylics are expensive, especially the big tubes, and decent brand names like Winsor and Newton.

It is one of the best but the Galleria is the student grade if I am not mistaken. I would have loved to have seen what was in the case under the paint. I love art supplies. lol

That farie book is collector's, it is an art book well known for it's detailed descriptions and artwork inside. It will sell quite well on ebay to art collectors. the paint is worth cash it is very well known art company that sells premium paints. :)

If the illustrations in the fairy books are well done you can frame them and sell them as prints - There is a market for whimsical, fairy motif items -

Boxes being mislabeled probably has to do with boxes being reused. The misc. kitchen box probably contained just that at one time but the box was reused for Christmas decorations and the person who put the Christmas decorations in that box didn't bother to relabel it.
You should check the books for author signature & 1st editions - it makes the book more valuable. Also you know a lot about men's shirts & sports related clothing, but remember that 50% of the population are females & they shop more + their clothing can be worth more then men's.

One of the last big jobs we did was a roll out for a bunch of bank branches in So. Cal. upgrading their network and phone systems. We weren't allowed to dump any of our trash in their dumpsters so all the boxes and debris we were left with was building up in his backyard. He got into a pissing contest with a storage company he had rented a large container from over some free months he was supposed to get for a year lease that they back peddled on. He decided to take all the trash from the roll out along with a bunch of household waste and carefully re box it into the network gear boxes so it looked like the container was full of expensive goodies and flake on the rent basically to avoid a dump fee and screw over the storage company at the same time. That was before the Storage Wars TV show and UA-cam videos so he didn't know that they auctioned them off. Some unfortunate sap probably paid a fortune for a 10 by 20 ft storage container full of what looked like brand new expensive Cisco, Avaya and APC devices that was really just boxes full of garbage including his yard clippings, cat litter and dog shit. That's what terrifies me to the point I have never tried bidding at any of those auctions.

If you compare items from the USA /Canada and items from Europe it would be different. It has to do with the fact the USA and Canada are not as old as European countries. If you go thrifting in say London you can easily find and buy items from the Roman empire and the viking empire.
looks like it is an artist's stash of supplies. no expensive brands, so my guess is that she made seasonal things to sell at craft fairs. my artist friends would never buy markers etc at dollar store. Watch those little booklets and such in sewing box. Also old cooking booklets, some of older lithographed ones for Campbell's soup from 1940s can go for $20+.

As a matter of fact, how old is "vintage". I was brought up to believe it was 100 years old to be vintage. Maybe times have changed.
@@rosemarydudley9954 anything between 20 years to about 70 years is vintage and anything older is antique. But it depends on where you come from really. If you compare items from the USA /Canada and items from Europe it would be different. It has to do with the fact the USA and Canada are not as old as European countries. If you go thrifting in say London you can easily find and buy items from the Roman empire and the viking empire.
looks like it is an artist's stash of supplies. no expensive brands, so my guess is that she made seasonal things to sell at craft fairs. my artist friends would never buy markers etc at dollar store.
Watch those little booklets and such in sewing box. Also old cooking booklets, some of older lithographed ones for Campbell's soup from 1940s can go for $20+.
