Good stuff, as always, Elite Prospects! I wouldn't be displeased at all if Lambert made it into the Red Wings draft selection at 8th overall. His relatively low production might be a blessing for Detroit. How do y'all get so much Finnish Liiga footage? I know you are based all over the place but I can't find Liiga games available in the United States on any streaming platforms for the life of me.
absolutely great video! Thanks again for a such a complete and easy to understand video! Keep it up. Can't wait for more videos. (I'm a big Montreal Canadien's fan so I'm looking forwards to these kinds of videos for Joshua Roy, Shane Wright, Juraj Slafkovsky, Jyan Mysak, Xhekaj and etc! ) Keep up the great work. I love all your videos
You should do a video on Kakko comparing his pre-draft and post-draft play. Are there significant differences that have hurt his production? Or have his skills just failed to translate to the NHL? Improved defensive game (his only major trait per JFresh) could signal a shift in priorities for his post-draft development by NYR staff
I was even shocked he fell to 30 and im happy for the jets getting this steal. I had him taken somewhere top 20 or before the 25th pick still don't know why teams slept on him cause that potential is very high and yes he does need work but seeing him really coming into his own is a very great sign for top 6 potential. If anyone could explain why he was slept on at the draft im all ears cause I'm still saying WTF why did he fall til this day
@@David-gy4fj there are concerns about his attitude and work ethic. He hasn’t played well this season either. He’s obviously very talented but many scouts share these concerns.
Yet they can visibly see his production increase when he plays for Finland with better talent around him. I’d draft him at 8 just for his skating ability and let him develop in the AHL for a couple seasons.
I want Detroit to take Lambert so bad! Assuming Savoie is gone, here’s the order of who I like that will Likely be available at 8: 1. Brad Lambert 2. Frank Nazar III 3. Jonathan Lekkerimäki 4. Danila Yurov 5. Gleb Trikozov
If we did take him, I wonder what Stevie would do with him. Would he leave him in Finland or find a spot for him where his scoring instincts can take over? I don't think they send him to GR, but possibly one of our favorite spots in Sweden or even maybe a CHL team. Super exciting prospect though.

Great pick up for the Jets!!
Back after the Jets had him drop into their lap at 30th .....30th...WTF....
This could be a serious steal.

It's geoblocked, I think. We get it through a scouting platform.
@@davidst-louis8315 Gotcha. Thanks for the reply
Some teams have him on do not draft lists. Don’t be surprised if he falls to the 2nd round
Unreal he dropped to 30…
@@Pharr. yap that was pretty disappointing
The only thing stopping Brad lays in his heart. If he decides to work hard and learn the game he will be great.

If Savoie, Cooley, or Salfkovsky aren't there, I want Lambert. (as a flyers fan)
You’ll have Savoie but you guys are going defense
He looks crazy good at NHL level already

way too risky for a rebuilding team like Detroit imo but if Y goes on him I'll be really excited for sure !
I trust Stevie Y so much that he could draft the last player in the draft and I would still believe that he chose the best for Detroit 😂

Lambert would've been a steal but for a team that's contending now, that trade was very worth
Dissapointed he went so late, would've been a perfect fit with nashville, MN, or Philly. Now he's stuck behind perfetti :(
behind? perfetti is being turned into a winger currently. he’s too small to play center in the nhl
