@@surronzak8154 who cares. the ffu filters the air, if you work really closely in front of it directly it won't be a problem, just don't do open agar "tests" xD.. open and close quickly and you'll be fine. Yes, a 1x1 is small for bags. I recommend sealing them first and inoculating with lc through the bag. Especially for beginners, nocking sawdust bags with grain is challenging, and contams are frequent. Large commercial operations will obviously want full size flow hoods.

Great demo but.... isn't that smoke prematurely plugging up your filter? I get the educational reason you would do it but do you recommend that others try this at home? Great content, keep it coming!
Yes, it definitely put undue wear on the hepa filter. Kickstarter initially denied my campaign because there was “insufficient evidence” on video that the flow hood actually works (it’s hard to see sterile air). Definitely do not do this at home! Haha thanks for clarifying Steve.
I know this is an old comment but the are typically placed on top with a cavity in the back of the fan. This way the fan fills the entire space behind the filter first which then increases the pressure so that the air is pushed out of the filter evenly.
You can't kick starter this stuff. 98% of people are sheep an ignorant, and cannot comprehend what they're seeing. Find a cheap source of parts. Make and upscale these devices, sell them expensively to mushroom cultivators. Just a tip. Good stuff though!
Perfect example of turbulent flow
This is a really helpful example of testing laminar flow. Much better than the lighter test. Thank you!
And here we can clearly see it isn't laminar as the smoke mixes

Just ordered mine. Very excited. Thanks Fungaia.
Amazing. Thank you! Can’t wait to build it for ya
Afterwards use sage to clear negative energy and entities from your workspace before you begin your work.
Perfect ! The smoke shows that the air flow is turbulent and not laminar 😂😂

I'm sorry but I don't get it... I'm not seeing the laminar flow... Where is it????
Kinda Small when you are working with Bags. Has a nice Flow. Cheers

Very nice!
Good enough for me. Now show me how you made that size. 😅
Do you offer shipping to germany :)? very nice product
Yes!
Which type of hepa should I use? Deep pleated one or mini pleated one? I contacted a filter manufacturer and they are asking me the same question ⁉️
An air quality meter would have been nice.

@@_fungaia It's a turbulent flow
Awesome. Are you guys selling this or the portable model yet?
Yes, you can purchase one through the kickstarter campaign! Check out www.fungaia.life
So the fan is in the back? Isn't it supposed to be on top with laminar flow hoods? I wonder about the technical reasons for that.

Isn’t that turbulent though? You can see the eddys in the smoke.
