- It's time. Time to test ourselves and see if we can survive alone in the cavern beneath Firestorm Peak.
Please note that I am playing the 2011 version of the game. I'm not sure if the rules have been updated or clarified so feel free to chime in if I am doing something outdated!
Tito is a smasher! His problem is that he smashes walls and the floor instead of the hero! lol
Great fun thanks, Chrissie!
Looking forward to the next episode
lol, theses sets are very hard playing as a solo character, good luck / skill . We shall see in part three. I enjoy playing all the sets and using the different monsters. Keep up the great work.
I think this will be my only solo map because you can get really run over without a partner or two!
Oof, this captures the ups and downs of the game for sure... you didn’t end up using it, but if I were playing I would not have said I could shoot my bow around the corner to that snake (at the beginning, before it moved). No LOS around the corner (as I play)-can’t recall if that’s the rule or no. Nice vid.
It doesn't make sense but the rules say nothing about LOS, just the number of tiles and if there is a clean path to the target (no walls / doors)
Yup, there is no line of sight in the rules. Makes it much easier to play since you don't have to worry about it. I just imagine the characters can lean around corners!
@@SoloMcLaughlin Yes, that is correct, there is no LOS, unlike in Descent where LOS is a thing. And tracked and checked. I would've played it like you did. But as a skirmish wargamer, it is kind of weird :)

It's more of a puzzle game... most enemies move from spawn-point to spawn point (per tile) while heroes have different grid speeds ... also, only 1 treasure when killing multiple per turn?
Ah, cool - there's the second part already. 😁
Great run so far.
@18:20 I believe the earthquake still does 1 damage, even on a miss (it says so on the card).
Oh, I think you are right. Never understood why they used such a tiny font!
