Hi Crissy, this looks like a great game! I can't wait to play it. Do you have any recommendations for a similar style game that would be approrate to play with my 11 year old daughter, prefereably something with a more modern theme?
When my nephew was about 13ish, I got him the solo RPG/choose your own adventure book Fabled Lands. He loved it and ending up playing through the whole series. It's a high fantasy setting but you make a character sheet, roll and d20, and make choices. You might want to check that out. I hope it's what you are looking for!
Not only the combat but the characters, in general, are really similar to Darkest Dungeon, with the abilities and the positive and negative traits, and how you have to buy gear before your journey
Hi have you thought about doing a solo play through of “Castle’s of Burgundy the dice game”. I have seen videos of others playing it solo, but you explain things better than anyone. It’s not at all difficult, but looks like a great compact game that would be great solo (or multiplayer) and would be a perfect one to pack for travel 🧳. Thanks 😊
