Now, I had NO idea that Chaka Khan played the drums. I am an avid over the top lifetime Chaka Khan fan. This is a tremendous revelation about a beloved music icon.

People don't realize that Chaka has always played the drums and the timbales. Back in the 70's she was on many show's showing off her drumming skills. So b4 Sheila E and Evelyn King there was Chaka and Karen Carpenter and Ta Ta Vega they all played drums and could kick ass doing it too. And all GREAT singers.
Keke Wyatt although not as musically prolific (but an amazing vocalist) an as also drum her butt off!
