- Really best song ever ??? :D yeah That is possible... To me watching a good deal of bts it's the best song ever :) jimin performed this song in a way that I became his person fan :))))))) Can't help myself not listening to this song, while writing this description also the song is in my headphones, having fun listening to it.

I'm so glad the time has come you react to jimin. He is as rm said an all-rounder having a variety of talents in one package. Every one of his songs although not so many yet has uniqueness and charm to it and also technically perfect, his dance so beautiful, powerful, precise, elegant and mesmerising, and his personality so innocent, sincere and adorable that it's hard not to love him. And that's why his fans and professionals in music and dance are waiting so eagerly for his solo album myself included. I love this song very much. Thank you for reacting to jimin's work. Lie is the best solo by any bts member in my opinion.
Along with Jimin, Docskim (who did Wildflower w RM) is also credited co-writing and producing Lie. Listening to the mastery of both songs it is no surprise why both are so beautiful and compelling. Jimin’s personal struggles are told in this song. Not only is it sung beautifully by Jimin but the performance was also iconic as well as the arrangement which music reactors love to dissect. 💜

❣️Jimin wrote the lyrics not only by himself, but was the only one to send his very first draft to the producers, and it was approved, so no need for a rewrite! The lie is the lie he keeps telling himself. Always in the past aiming for perfection and by doing so always questioning and second guessing himself! Although deep inside he knows better! The other lie is telling himself, as well as everyone else that everything is alright when it's not!! Jimin has grown and changed, along with the other members since then. All learning to love themselves for who & what they are flaws and all! Jimin is now able to, as his song "Promise" says, shine the light on himself, as well, speaking up more when things bother him and allowing himself to laugh off whenever he makes any kind of mistake, knowing now he can always perfect or improve on what ever needs to be corrected next time!!
As a R&B musician, this song is freakingly genius masterpiece! Please appreciate this song more !
Looking forward to when you react to Jimin’s Lie live performance! Not just Jimin’s vocal ability is spectacularly amazing, but equally amazing is his dancing, along with the choreography. Jimin’s ability to dance those ever so strenuous dance moves while singing live, (except for ‘caught in a lie’ which is done with only the backtrack since that part has the most strenuous dance moves) is an absolute must that I urge you to react to.
One of the most musically complex interesting songs in the BTS catalog produced by the epic Docskim, who also happened to produce Wildflower for RMs Indigo. He’s also been part of their live touring band since the beginning and is crazy talented. Him and Jimin together was magic. MAGIC.

Your face matched mine when I first heard this. Astonishing song. I recall Jimin being so upset that his voice "was not good enough" and hoping one day to touch people with his voice. He has certainly succeeded.
