The clear soprano voice of Lorraine Stancil-Lawson has been heard from the quaint sanctuary of her childhood Pentecostal church in Paterson, New Jersey, to the spanning caverns of the Grecian Parthenon. Born the youngest of four children, she has built her life and ministry on the foundation of prayer, holiness, and the appreciation of the Levitical order. With trust in God and His anointing, her vocal expertise has afforded her innumerable opportunities to consistently travel more than half way around the globe.
She has recorded with Rev. Thomas Roberts Angelic Choir, Bible Way Choir and Hezekiah Walker and the Love Fellowship Crusade Choir
Through this vessel of honor, many souls have come to Christ, lives have been changed, chains broken, and yokes destroyed. She has been a favored and preferred guest of thousands of ministries for more than 30 years, and God is continually 'enlarging her borders'.
She is the proud mother of two adult children; her son Kevin, is a world reknowned musician, song writer, producer and vocalist; her daughter, Stephanie, is a licensed minister, prolific drummer, sign language instructor and entrepreneur. She is also 'gramma' to her two jewels, ShaVon Monet and Nikko Jersan. By God's divine timing, she was re-united with her high school sweetheart, Mr. James Lawson, and they were wed in a beautiful, intimate ceremony on December 28, 2007. Her life-long motto is...'I CAN DO ALL THINGS THROUGH CHRIST THAT STRENGTHENS ME!'
