One of the hardest trails in North America. We head back to The Moon to conquer the trail that defeated us last time. This is, THE LOOP OF BROKEN DREAMS
At 48 and just getting back into dirt bikes, this screams that I need to get in shape. I don't have rocks or hills like that in IL, but that looks grueling. I'm looking forward to spring weather so I can get out there.
Travis: Really enjoy your commentary and I feel the same about ridges with drop offs. Mommie!!!!.....😂👍 Got to go to the bathroom now, then get a glass of water cause my palms sweated about a quart....
Travis, I’ve herd your commentary on a vid I recently watched of yours hearing you say keep that rear wheel rolling. I sometimes stop for a second, look, then coach myself from a Trial’s riders POV before dippin in. It really surprises me what is possible and the How well listening to my own advise goes .
I rode that ridge and some of the same trails on a trip down from WA a few years ago. Thought I was the only one of the few who knew about this gem of a spot. Can’t wait to get back.
Wow!! That's some triple black diamond s..t right there! It's going to take a plunger just to get my nads out of my body cavity! Great ridding, thanks for sharing!
Wayyyyyy above my pay grade! First of all that ridge at the 6:00 mark had me freaking out, but that thing you called a trail towards the end....when you looked down at your broken boot...that was a long way down. My hat's off to ya. You handled it. I have no desire to ever ride trails that difficult. The Tecate trip was more my style (minus the crazy passing). Great vid!!!👍🤘👊
Man you are a beast on that machine. Unreal riding video yet again. One day I’ll get there. Love watching all your vids. Also enjoyed how you told what gear you were going in on some of the hill climbs and when you changed. Helped for newer riders like myself see how you would tackle something like that
That was some insane riding I'm pretty sure I wouldn't want to attempt even though the beauty is spectacular I like rocks but that was just insane ty Doug Gunnison CO
My hat goes off to you, seems like the older I get the less I want to ride like you are, I’m looking for nice easy trails with maybe MAYBE I hard technical hill or two, me and a good friend both stopped vintage mx Racing and bought a KTM and a Husqvarna both 300 and started trail riding but I’m 63 and my buddy is like 40 so he is still got that crazy blood but I seem to be slowing down but still having a blast , thanks for the video
I like how you're open about your fears. Because every other is going througt everything so easily then I'm like well I'm just gonna stop riding at this point because that'd scare the crap out of me. But with you're videos, I'm like yeah, that's scary and if he says it too, then I'm just normal. And you teach me to go at it even if I'm scared, "it's not gonna get better staying down here". And it's good, I like it, your videos are helpful. Cheers from france.
Fantastic trail! While its been said many times before, after seeing your video it warrants saying again, "Just think of (visualize) any hill you're on as just a flat section of trail while you're riding it." Ignoring the fact you're on an incline, to the maximum extend possible (gravity is still always in play) will help calm the nerves, lessen fears, and improve the likelihood of staying upright and even enjoying these sections of your rides.
Shit man. I just got back from Barstow trip and filmed a bunch of stuff I thought was tough for me. Then I watched it compared to your stuff. I might as well of stayed home! This is some of craziest stuff I've seen you put out. Congrats and you channel is getting better and better. Thank you for all the hard work you put into this.
I'd love to try it! The views is what would give me the drive an the mental challenge as well! Props to ya for doing it! An some of the trails deff make me question but I'd have to see how far I'd make it!
You have to this tall to ride-, unfortunately I'm not tall enough! 10k bike ,25$ pair of boots ... priorities I love it! Great video, I'm blown away how scary it looks from my phone, I can't even imagine it in real life.
That sh$! Was buttpucker the whole time, so so so gnarly Travis. Glad you made it. "That's what we are going up next, Great?!". Haha. I am a wuss, I would not want to be up there with my motorcycle, maybe mountain bike, but mostly just hiking at best. I like exploring but holy crap. I literally was sitting in fear the whole damn video😂👍
I watched this again.. yup, still scared the shit out of me when you were on that knife edge ridge. I was on a small one last week and reached up to adjust goggles and almost went over. Doing it on that mountain would surely be many broken bones or death.
Great video! And incredible trail. I appreciate the auto clutch remark haha. Easier doesn’t mean better...not for anyone trying to improve their riding and bike control.
LOLOLOLOL Complain, complain, complain.... you sound like me. I'd love to ride that up until I got up until the point where I got up there and got tired. Then I'd begin to complain just like you. Those trails are amazing and definitely above the pay grade of 95% of riders. Great job, keep it up as I'm living vicariously through your videos right now.
65 here and followed a bunch of 26 to 29 year olds on knarly single track like this. And hung in there with them. Clears up the sinuses! I'm on a XR650L w/ 600 eng. (My poor clutch)
I love how us dirt bikers can just look at the landscape and think "I could ride my bike up that."
Dirt Bikes & Ice Hockey That’s all I ever do 🤣
Brad is my Nate and I'm a better rider because of him
Dirt Bikes & Ice Hockey I tought I was the only one that does that😂
Yeah I look at a tough climb and go find a bypass
At 48 and just getting back into dirt bikes, this screams that I need to get in shape. I don't have rocks or hills like that in IL, but that looks grueling. I'm looking forward to spring weather so I can get out there.
F that I'm scared just watching this.lol
Holding on to my lazy boy for dear life.
Serious pucker factor on some of those spots.
I was scared for you. 😆 Video had me on the edge of my seat the entire time. Well done dude!
Wow wat amazing views n 2 top awesome riders 😀🏍️. Good one Travis n Nate 😀🏍️ from north of England Uk
WOW Travis. What an epic climb. So cool you did it and documented it. You make the struggle bus look painfully fun. You got ballz and skillz to match!
That terrain is sick! Several times I would have went back to van. Good show!
That area has so .many gnarly climbs. Nice ride Travis.
Daaaaaang, that was an epic ride, and I am just sitting on the couch. Good job and awesome scenery.
Nothing like a good survival ride 🤭! Nate is a beast! Great job fellas!
This trail is just SICK! WAY above my pay grade! Nice job. Can't wait for the next part.
Travis: Really enjoy your commentary and I feel the same about ridges with drop offs. Mommie!!!!.....😂👍 Got to go to the bathroom now, then get a glass of water cause my palms sweated about a quart....
I have hated days like this but after looking back it made me a better rider,so i totally feel you.-)
Man. I was out of my comfort zone just watching you tackle those mountain climbs. well Done!
Rule of thumb, if I can't walk up it I ain't good enough to ride up it, well done guys.
Often I think I would like to ride with you. Not this day. Not even back in the day I could ride a whole GP at speed. Respect.
Dude, way to go. lettin it roll.......Good job
I love those kind of hill climbs!! Not so much the technical hard enduro Cody Webb stuff you did recently. Great video's and commentary too.
Awesome vid, you two have balls of steel
Wow the views and drop offs!😮 Sweet ride and fun to watch as always👍
Wow! When it looks sketchy on the Go Pro, I cant imagine what it looks like actually being there. You my friend have some Cojones!
I really enjoy these. Keep it up!

Try it? yeah, no. Was hard enough watching you guys without feeling queasy. Madness. Well done!
Amazing views. Would love to ride there. Challenging but rewarding
1st. Nice riding. I would stay in those canyons. Those ridges would freak me out on foot.
Wow! Epic ride!

kind of reminds me of some Sea to Sky vid sections.. Nice! Beautful views!!!
A huge thank you for sharing. At 57 years old I should be there by now but not. I will be at the rate I am going.
Wow that last couple of climbs amazing
I'll stick to my service roads at land between the lakes
U guys are crazy 😜. Love it!
That was some insane riding I'm pretty sure I wouldn't want to attempt even though the beauty is spectacular I like rocks but that was just insane ty Doug Gunnison CO
Awesome terrain you guys have,
My hat goes off to you, seems like the older I get the less I want to ride like you are, I’m looking for nice easy trails with maybe MAYBE I hard technical hill or two, me and a good friend both stopped vintage mx Racing and bought a KTM and a Husqvarna both 300 and started trail riding but I’m 63 and my buddy is like 40 so he is still got that crazy blood but I seem to be slowing down but still having a blast , thanks for the video
James Polucha I am with you - 63 next month but never was fast!
Hey I'm with you guys too, turning 53 here in a few and nice easy desert trails are my thing. Anything harder than that is just work.
It’s funny the older I get the faster I was ha
This is what dreams are made of. Some of the Best content yet

What a beautiful place to be able to ride love the video
The place is amazing. Thanks
One day I hope to be able to do stuff like that. Awesome video.
Been riding out there since I was a kid. Your doing great man. Most people don't come back.
That is a trail that will humble 95% of the riders. Your leader is savage.
You are amazing. I would have told my buddy to kick rocks a long time ago on this trail!!!!
Looks like a great trail with lot's of fun and struggle.
Your clutch work is to be commended
Had to increase my cardiac meds watching you guys. Great video love your comments. Scorpion on top of a ridge- Ahh!!!
I’m so envious! There is an unlimited supplies of hard trails on your side of California! Enjoy the winter!
Ya'll are incredible!!!
Just having fun putting around in the hills
Some hardcore stuff right there💪
You did great , Good JOB
super cool video. scary but awesome stuff to ride.
That looks awesome! Super sketchy in some spots but nice job just taking your time and picking your way through it.
Just have to go one step at time. no rush from me
Travis, you always have the best videos and the best riding locations, the more of your videos I see the more I am inspired by you. Keep it up 👊
Thanks so Much Jerry!
Yes, agreed, makes me want to go ride. Is this area close to Apple Valley? I can't seem to find it.
Fantastic trail! While its been said many times before, after seeing your video it warrants saying again, "Just think of (visualize) any hill you're on as just a flat section of trail while you're riding it." IMHO your shootings are then only ones where we really are IN ! Thanks dude !
Amazing! I think I'm progressing a little and then watch your vids and realize I'll never be at this level.

you gotta earn it to get your name in that book. great job! great trail or lack of.
That kind of riding without a rekluse shows you don't need one. Amazing skills.
Amazing views!
You need to get one of those Rekluse crutches... oops I mean clutches, lol. Kick ass trail my friend.
Nice..!!! Way to get after it..!!!
Epic gnar! Nice riding.
Very impressive!
when YOU question the trail, that will be a HARD no from me, dawg. :) Good job
Holy crap. Sure glad you're OK with heights exposure. I'm getting vertigo just watching this. Crazy, awesome, and incredible.
I am afraid of heights. Took everything in me to go back to this place and shoot this video. The first try was my worst day on a bike
@@EverySingleSunday Dang, and incredibly awesome to over come that fear!
Crazy ride! I'll ride up just about anything, but coming down is another story...
You have to this tall to ride-, unfortunately I'm not tall enough! 10k bike ,25$ pair of boots ... priorities I love it! Great video, I'm blown away how scary it looks from my phone, I can't even imagine it in real life.
That is above my my pay grade, awesome video
Yea,...I did this and was leading Graham Jarvis and Taddy, totally blew them away,.....then I woke up. Awesome channel.
Been there ... Some that
Still scary in my dreams
That sh$! Was buttpucker the whole time, so so so gnarly Travis. Glad you made it. "That's what we are going up next, Great?!". Haha. That's some awesome terrain. We just got lots of roots, water, rocks, and clay here in the PNW.
I would rather ride the PNW any day over this stuff. You're lucky to live up there
WOW..
Great views, but definitely above my "paygrade" totally worth the effort !!
Insane trail.... I use the word “trail” very loosely there. Well done!
I'm sweating watching this. At home in the AC. In my chair. Nice riding sir!
Credit where due, scared but you never quit.
dame right!
we used to ride stuff like this in Grand Junction Colorado, awesome fun, bent a few handlebars there
I watched this again.. yup, still scared the shit out of me when you were on that knife edge ridge.
Thanks man, I appreciate it. Let me know when you're ready to come out west and we'll get a day together to have some fun out here.
My bro lives in Palmdale how far away are you
I feel your pain man that's an intense ride to warm-up on
Big balls and great video Man
LOLOLOLOL Complain, complain, complain.... you sound like me. I'd love to ride that up until I got up until the point where I got up there and got tired. Then I'd begin to complain just like you. Some serious exposure!! No i won't put a recluse clutch on my bike. I liked all of this!!
Perfect Ride 👌 i Know how it is to Look down from the hills , its Horror. I do like the same in italy
Those are some good climbs. Surprised Nate didn’t take you through that first canyon.
Ok, I’m putting this on my to do list Travis.
It's awesome if you like this type of stuff
Gnarly stuff!!
Looks a lot like a place I used to ride a lot called “JAWBONE!,”
Damn I miss that place!,
I think the pipe gave it away! 🤣
For me this would be Loop of Broken Body! Wild ride, damn impressive and waaaay above my pay grade.
Probably shouldn't head up there :)
Sick ride!
68 here and still riding
You're an animal!
65 here and followed a bunch of 26 to 29 year olds on knarly single track like this. And hung in there with them. Clears up the sinuses! I'm on a XR650L w/ 600 eng. (My poor clutch)
