Good tips! Ordered some propeller guards for my DJI Mini 3 Pro after watching. I'll mostly be helping out with Real Estate agents getting video indoors and outdoors with my drone to suppliment handheld footage. I just passed my Part 107 test today first try thanks to you guys, and I'm excited to turn my license and drone into a full time business and quit my 9-5!!

Congrats on passing, and thanks for checking out our content. We hope to hear soon that you have quit the 9-5, good luck!

Great tips. I think the best way to get good at flying indoors is to fly bandos. You get good or get broke quick.

Abandoned sites can be great practice. We always recommend getting permission of course but you are correct that you will get better or broke lol :)

Curious about your thoughts on the Mavic Mini 2 indoors. The 14-15' max height sensor prohibits me from flying above obstacles higher than that indoors. Without GPS, it is very unstable but do-able if I could work around the max height issue.

While it can work as you pointed out, the Mini 2 probably isn't the best drone for indoor work. I used an Air 3 when I was shooting the factory I discussed in the video and it worked great. I have heard good things about the Mini 4 Pro indoors as well. Thanks for the question.

Unfortunately prior to receiving my 107 license in the mail and going by the instructions on the manual, I could not get flying in a small indoors well at all. Currently for indoors I only offer 4k 360 degree camera videos. A large warehouse as you mentioned I would believe would be easier overall. On my new commercial DJI I plan on using propeller guards anyhow. Though most people won't utilize them, I opt to just for extra safety purposes.

Really confined spaces can be a real challenge. The factory was much more open then that but had added dangers like people, electrical interference, and moving cranes. Every indoor space is unique and must be planned for prior to the flight. I agree with you on prop guards for sure. It is always better to be safe!
