This might be the second time this boat has been on the channel, but it was too cold in the north to watch it the first time it was posted 😄 Now that summer weather is here, it's just right! Awesome job as always!
Superb work as always! This boat is ready to sail the seven seas ⛵️ Very sorry to hear about the hiccup with the landlord. I’m sure everything will work out and this will be but a small bump in the road. Take care and rest up, soon you’ll be back to scrubbing mildew and extracting weird highlighter coloured fluids! 🧡🤙🏽
What is your exact spray rig setup? Pressure washer, reel, hose, and gun please? Thinking about investing in a nice setup myself. Love you videos! My favorite detailer
If I may, I have a couple tips you may like! I used to do a lot of boat/yacht detailing and a few thing that saved me time and made my life easier for cleaning are 30 second outdoor cleaner; this will remove mildew/stains off seats like magic, esp paired with a magic eraser. On and Off hull cleaner; amazing product for cleaning any rust/yellow stains on the hull or even interior! Just be cautious with it as it is extremely strong it will hit the lungs and skin like fireants and will also chalk up any polished surface, so don’t let it sit too long. Lastly is a spiraling pressure washer tip! Makes quick work of cleaning non skid surfaces such as the interior, but once again, very strong. Good luck!
What kind of music did you use? I was really hooked and wanted to have these tracks in my music collection To be honest, I really like this kind of content - when you take an abandoned, moldy thing and transform it before your eyes, but it’s a Herculean task to wash it all off
Love the content. You do what you gotta do. Running a business and streaming just impressive. Wish I lived in USA would love for you to bring my trailhawk back to nice condition keep up the great work...
Nice job! I need to get on my boat now. Just curious, at the beginning with all the mold and mildew, why didn't you use a high concentration of Sodium Hypochlorite? I use a product called Hot Bleach which is 15 percent fresh. You'll need a respirator and gloves. I figured it can't be good for a nice looking gel coat but in this case, you had to fix that anyways. You wouldn't need to pressure wash little lines. You could almost just hose it off.
Flip the work you put into this is extreme!! Must have taken hours. How many gallons of APC did you get through?! 😂 Amazing job. Hope you get the studio sorted soon
If you go back and look at the previous one that he did of this boat, then you will see that there is a over seven minute discrepancy. However, there is a lot of reused content from that video. So I do fully agree with you. It’s actually hard to find anything that he did different with the extra seven minutes.
Hey I love your videos so that wasnt a diss I understand you got make that money everybody does so you get it man if you got wash same boat over and over for views go for it sorry if I seem rude.
I love these type of power washing neglected boat and other vehicles so THANKS for that BUT why oh why do so many start the wash from the bottom up. For me it would make a lot more sense to start at the top and work toward the bottom. Doing the top last just lets all the dirt runoff flow down over previously washed areas. Doesn't make sense to me.
I can’t believe some people on here commenting.. “why are you reusing old videos?” Like listen dumb dumb… He mentions it in the beginning of the video… Gees man!!
I don't what it is, but it seems at the end of the video everything is so grayscale that it's hard to see the quality of your work. It might just be the dull lighting in the shop. It would be nice to see a 3 minute clip of it outside your shop. Very nice detail. I would just buy new cupholders.
Just out of interest, how did you get the water out that you sprayed inside the boat with the pressure washer? A boat doesn't have a drain plug like a bathtub. 😉
There is a deck drain in the front. At 05:08 when he open up the hatch. You can spot a hatch drain. We had a similar speedboat, and they have more than one deck drain. So you can power wash the interior. And if you get water from waves on board, it will drain out.
Your coatings will only work on fresh water boats as in the stuff that sits in water, any coating that sits in salt water wont last for 10 minutes, nothing will protect it, salt water eats everything, but the above water stuff wil last longer not thart long though. only thing you can really do for boats is polish the Gel Coat on it.
Love your videos man hope you can get things situated with your landlord and can use the shop i mean you guys have put work into it and money and you all are responsible sounds he or she just wants to be kevin or karen in that matter good luck man hope to see the shop up and running
Just wondering why I can’t seem to get my question answered? The second video I’ve asked it on along with a compliment? I’m looking back days later at this and you’ve answered others when they’re being rude. I’ve even made a purchase. If I buy something else will you answer it then?
I’ll buy some apc if you give me a good detailed answer. Size cost where to buy a nice setup without overpaying. Not familiar with this style. I’ve only dealt with pull arounds on wheels. Thank you in advance hopefully???
@@Jenniferboyette941 I honestly don’t remember the brand of my pressure washer. The name is American something. But it was on the pricy side. @@MADDETAILING was asking about your stationary spray rig setup? All the info of the pressure washer itself hose and reel setup where to find and buy for best pricing? I like the looks of yours and want possibly that same setup depending on pricing. Thank you!
I have a 1997 Allegro Bay Motorhome that's been sitting for about 6 years. It has had leaks and has mold in some spots of the interior. The outer body has green mold and is faded. It still runs and drives but I can't afford the gas to take it camping. I'd like to just sell it so someone else can enjoy it, but not in the condition that it is in. I'm 62, disabled, and ex military, and we love it if you could help me out while making a video of it for your channel. My motorhome is in Moultrie, Ga. which is just above Tallahassee, Florida.
Since you're in our former home of Sanford, FL I'll share a boat detailing story. We bought a similar boat in 2016 and kept it in Monroe Harbor Marina in 16 and 17. In 18 we moved it over to Boat Tree to cut the time we spent crossing Lake Monroe to head up the St. Johns. We kept it in "dry" storage rather than a slip so you call them and they put it in and you head to the slip they text you. So Hurricane Micheal comes through and unbeknownst to us the cover got ripped off. It was stored in an area where we couldn't see it. They never told us the cover was off and they left the plug in. The river was closed for a bit due to high water so we didn't find out it was a disaster till a few months later. The damn thing was a mosquito colony and had buckets and buckets of muck and leaves in it. I had not discovered detailing videos yet so I struggled for about a month before giving it to a local dealer to sell on commission. We probably lost 2K on the sale due to the damage done and the money we paid them to detail it.
I really do like the content that you put out on the channel. But why reuse this same exact video from five months ago that has currently 1.6 million views and make it seven minutes longer? I do not see a whole lot of changes from the previous. These videos are relaxing to watch, but I do not want to watch the same video over and over again. Please don’t go down that path that so many others have.
Sorry about your landlord being a dick, hopefully this isn't a sign of things to come. As bad as your disaster details are this video reminds me why I absolutely hate detailing boats. It is your usual top notch job.
Ok I'm sure you got with your landlord wen to decided to do this shop build RIGHT.! Because it's his property and any thing done to the property has got to be approve buy him. If this was done then why would you have problems now.??

3k sand paper is equivalent to using a brown paper bag to sand
