Crafty Emily throws in a Tap Ball Change whilst you are not looking.
Crazy Emily :-)
The agreement was / is : each has a slot ... , so the follower WILL go straight ....
1. Why you are putting extra attention on that point , when you start explaining ???
2. The leader needs only to communicate which move is coming .... , right ???
Emily said also : " ladies , you go STRAIGHT !
I hope you get my point , please explain what i am missing here ... ,
;-)
3. also , in your beginning example / demo , you show / do a slight pull , that is it , you are not MAKING her go straight , so i am a bit confused here .... ;-)
The rule is the follower will go the direction lead until lead in a different direction.
The leader needs to lead the whole move, the follower needs to anticipate without acting to early.
In the demo Brian lead the follower forward and then leads a turn so the follower knows to turn.
If the leader does not lead a turn then there is no whip. The leader needs their follower to turn backwards by the end of count 2.
When leads are experienced you should not see big actions but the followers will feel them, this is why you may not see a big turning lead.
I hope this helps with your confusion 😊
