Mine is still flipping great after a year, wish I had that nice spring latch tho, thanks for making a great inexpensive and durable knife. I like the Arena logo on the blade I’ll have to pick up the new model when I can😁
Thanks for your feedback, Alex - that makes us really happy to hear. If you take good care of your budget blades, they will last you decades. Balisongs take more of a beating as well, especially if they are dropped while trying new tricks 😂 after this last production, we won't be making any more budget models with our private label. We are moving towards providing budget friendly (premium) titanium handle models, in the $80-125 range, with more durable blade steels like D2... because there is a huge need in the butterfly knife community and knife market for that midrange price point. We'll see what the future brings, as long as we can keep this up and keep our customers impressed. 👍🏼
Balisong looks pretty sweet... thinking about buying one for the spring latch alone... bought a balisong from the 7 mile and was able to get it down to 10 bucks from the original 20... it's a decent knife but it's got some play to it.

@@ArenaAccessories thank you! being a beginner that actually helps a lot... with my first balisong the first problem i noticed was the latch hitting the blade when i flipped it so hoping the spring latch will completely eliminate that issue.

These flip super nice, I have to make a video soon. @@ArenaAccessories ill have to look at this one when i got extra money for a trainer... i plan on buying the knife that is in the video for the live blade so i got a decent every day carry knife for opening packages and such and maybe ill mod it when i get more comfortable knowledge in the balisong community. thanks for showing me that.
I still prefer teflon tape everytime. I know that threadlocker is prefered and in a lot of way better but there is a reason why a lot of the bali communtiy still prefer teflon tape
I totally hear you there - I don't think I have the skills to use teflon tape on these tiny screws, but with practice and patience I can see how it would be effective.
He is 100% right and beyond about threadlocker on your screws. Even expensive squid industry trainers need it. Use vibra or loc tite or even Teflon tape. I think Will Hersch has a video on teflon tape. Balisongs are not like folding knives, all the movements that are going on loosen screws that are not properly thread locked in.

Plus Teflon tape wigs me out, knowing it contains "forever chemicals" or PFOA's. So glad all of our plumbing has it on its pipes lol 😆
