Setup is a Sony 6100 via a Camlink 4k - quite high ISO . If you know a better setup that will capture live stream of stars
let me know .

I like this concept. But the problem is, even at highest quality 1080p+ the compression artifacts make it hard to see the stars

Yes , I agree, not sure what else to use. Its a good camera but as you say the compression is the killer

The weather was cloudy so I couldn't see 😔 2-3 years ago Mars and Venus were going to appear, I fell asleep that day too, I'm unlucky, it will happen in 2150, so after I die I'm unlucky, no one has ever had a big chance, it's always unlucky 😔...
