- Here is this video. I visited the Cradle Mountain area in Tasmania, Australia, and rode their shuttle bus recently. I have made a video to jointly educate and entertain people with this bus at the centre of this video. Here are some helpful links for deeper research into the bus.
FAQs related to new pricing etc - parks.tas.gov....

Thanks for watching!
Least weird Tasmanian bus:
Several US National Parks have put in shuttle bus systems as not enough parking spaces for vehicles, to limit air pollution and improve the visitor experience. Zion NP in Utah is one of them.
The reason why Cradle Mtn, Tasmania uses a shuttle bus instead of cars is due to a largenpartmmof the route through to the terminus being in the Cradle Mtn-Lake St Clair national park, a world heritage area fulfilling 7 of the 10 requirements for a world heritage area. This has lead to there being a limit on environmental impact and cars in the park at a time, so hus. After the revitalisation of Dove Lake, only 7 parking slots for regular cars were kept, to further reduce the need for the car.
Found this video and the commentary to be very informative & interesting. Beautiful place !!
Glad you enjoyed it
