Well done !!! Team Hiltz the 1933 Dodge Rat Rod Race Car is running and yard driving. That old flat V8 sounds great. With some minor tinkering the Old Girl and Young Jolene will be ready for Pine Tree. With Chad , Nate and Doug as her Pit Crew
Congratulations on the build!!! I love it and would love to own it!!!! Now I hope people will stop saying he never finishes stuff. Here is a beautiful car build from the ground up in around 1 month and drives on its own power. Awesome job guys Maritime proud 👍👍👍👍
I wish I could be there in person, hearing it running.. Definitely not the same hearing it on video.. Great job guy’s and lady.. I love the comment from Jolene, beer time lol
I usually watch this show on my TV and so it is hard to comment. Your team has done a terrific job on this hot rod. You are right on the money with the stance and the overall look. The flathead is absolutely necessary. A Chevy small block would not have been nearly as good. Plus I appreciate how you show respect to Doug and Nate. I assume it is genuine. If it is not, you are a great actor. It was the same way with Aiden. I was a little worried when the negativity came out when you got stung on the 40 Ford purchase but you have redeemed yourself 100%. Keep up the good work. The networks must be pooping bricks when you can single handedly compete with them on a fraction of their budget. The entertainment industry is going through some major changes!
I retired early from a factory so I could work in my garage. Nothing as cool as what these guys are doing. Mostly endless rust repairs and a few full paint jobs, but still very happy to finally be able to create cash from my garage with no day job needed👍
I looks amazing. I bet it’s fun to ride. I love the style. You guys did an amazing job. Seems like you guys were good together of you, including your wife for the videos.
Nice ratrod....out in Utah, they glue clumps of rocksalt to them hither and dither then clearcoat them, they look like they just rolled off the Bonneville salt flats.
Very nice, guys! I can see it painted in black primer with red flames on the sides, whitewalls, red wheels and moon hubcaps!....I would get a shorter shifter and put the battery somewhere else away from the gas tank. Other than that, great job guys!😁
Awesome. Bad Chad & Queen Jolene - the visionary's. Nate - the doctor, who brings it to life. Doug - the enforcer, keeps things running smooth. Congrats and thanks for taking us along.
The car looks awesome and sounds awesome. We all know it runs but i think we all would like to see it being driven down the road. If this was the end of this build please give us updates on it so we can see it totally done done. That is with everything that still needed to be done. We want to see this car going down the road or track.
I know that. I've been watching for a long time everyday. Would just like to see it all the way complete drivable and the exhaust all done brakes on and other stuff that isn't done yet. I know Chad is eager to move on to the Volvo and that's fine can't wait to see what they do with it.i hope at least they give us an update on the hotrod. I'm sure we will see them race it at the pinetree
You can put in an electric fuel shut off or a manual shut off that would fix the problem of the fuel filling the engine up with gasoline. If it was me having all of them autos I would get a plastic boat tank and an electric fuel pump so when you want to start one of the autos you put the boat tank in the trunk of the car then all of the autos you take the fuel line off the gas tank and run a rubber line from the steel line up into the trunk of the car then off the ignition switch run a wire to the trunk of the car this way your not putting gas into the autos gas tank to have it go bad and rust out. So at the end of the day you can take the fuel line off the carburetor you can blow air in the fuel line to punch the gas back to the boat tank so then the gas lines are empty then take out the boat tank start up the auto install it stops running that way your whole fuel system is empty when you not using the auto. It will save you from having bad gasoline and rust and corrosion and fuel turning into a gel.
Tip> One way to free up a stuck clutch. Crank it in gear get it up to speed, compress clutch and then slam on brakes. The engine will try to keep going and that torque will be transferred to the clutch. Hopefully that will break it free.
Good job Chad. I would suggest if you are running this on the street or strip I would install some kind of safety strap on the inside of the doors so they don't accidentally fly open while driving. Those old latches are not dependable.
Hi everyone and it's nice to see Jolene in the video. Hope you all had a blessed day. God bless and have a blessed

Team Hiltz. Love it when a plan comes together. come on negative people ,say something nice.
no clutch, no 1st gear, only positive thing I can think of😄
Design is always about the proportions. In my opinion, you have the proportions on this one perfect. Well done.

Just a few more tweaks and it's really becoming a beautiful hot rod.
Great job guys. 😎👍
I like the sound too
Awesome build! Love the sound and the whole exhaust idea!
Love the sound of a flathead, many years ago had a 53 ford pickup with flathead, straight pipes up the back of the cab, sounded awesome.
OK. I was wrong. They are finishing this hotrod. Nate needs a raise man.
far from finished
He hasn’t finished a car since tv left pre Covid open your eyes 👀

Nate deserves alot of credit..
No Question, Nate is a great addition to Team Hiltz
If I'm not mistaken Chad was thanking Nate and Doug for all their hard work at the end of the video
@@Aaronlewis8846
Deserving a lot of credit and thanking someone is two different things.. Stop being a snowflake
Purrs like a kitten!👍
Gonna be awesome to see this car completed she's a beaut. Team Hiltz did a great job!

That's really RAD Chad and Jolene! You have the best crew that all work together as a well-oiled machine now! Can't wait to see it finished!
Nice ratrod....out in Utah, they glue clumps of rocksalt to them hither and dither then clearcoat them, they look like they just rolled off the Bonneville salt flats.
Sure does look like a Hot Rod!!!! Love it from Australia.
This is my favorite build you have done. Love it!
Sounds Awesome once you get all the bugs worked out of it.Looks great Boys and Jolene
Very nice, guys! I can see it painted in black primer with red flames on the sides, whitewalls, red wheels and moon hubcaps!....I would get a shorter shifter and put the battery somewhere else away from the gas tank. Other than that, great job guys!😁
I think you need a longer lever on the clutch linkage. Not getting enough throw to disengage the clutch.
The angle does not provide enough linear transfer ... as in not long enough arm angle verses the " Rod Length " .
Great video thank you.
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏old school love it 😁😁😁😁😁😁😁
GREAT JOB!!!! you guys and gals we love it.
Great video and sweet looking Hot Rod !

It’s not for the road. It’s for the old school 1/8 mile race track.
Was in hopes you would be racing this flathead at the Winterport Dragway this September! Would love to see you all there!

Team work makes the dream work!!! That thing looks n sounds awesome!!🍻
I know there's a lot more to do but My Dream Team built another hot rod. Looks awesome
Ole skool looking good 👍
I would love to have that old hot Rod it's cool I would drive it anywhere way to go Rad Bad Chad love it .
How about a fire wall in the back around the gas tank
don’t ya like the smell of gasoline in the passenger compartment ?
Jeez thx for pointing that out! I don't think they would have ever thought of that
The gas tank is sitting right in the back seat they even do that demo cars. It is a boat tank they are DOT approved.
It's not done yet. Chad said in this video that there is a lot still to be done to it.
Yeah, I thought they were building a '33 Pinto. Just kidding.......
Awesome hot rod!!!
Love the look and it sounds good small things will keep it from driving and need to be solved. We have all run into things that I call hic-ups😊
Great job guys and gal !!!!
Tip> One way to free up a stuck clutch. Crank it in gear get it up to speed, compress clutch and then slam on brakes. The engine will try to keep going and that torque will be transferred to the clutch. Hopefully that will break it free.
Well done guys and gal!
Good job Chad. I would suggest if you are running this on the street or strip I would install some kind of safety strap on the inside of the doors so they don't accidentally fly open while driving. Those old latches are not dependable.
Hell ya , sounds Awesome Chad....bad Ass ride i must say...love it ,
Jolene doesn't miss a thing. Great microphone too. Chad, keep being you brother. I personally would boot the haters.
