🇦🇺Jason from sow the land made a large shelter to collect rain water, the gutters went into a 1000 lb water tank. He placed it in an area he has no water but wanted to have animals to improve the land.

That’s a great plan I think, would have to be secured somehow so the wind won’t tip it over I guess. I don’t have any animals too far from water so it’s not an issue yet but it’s a good idea.

I love y’all’s farm! I know it’s hard work to maintain but you make it look so easy. Y’all’s garden is fabulous-envious to even the most seasoned gardener. I was glad to see you put in a pond, I’m sure the ducks and geese are too! When I heard about Mollie, I was heart broken for you both. It was an awful tragedy and I know the person who did it has to be so upset. So sorry that happened. The claw crew looks so happy too-they’re very lucky to have you as their cat dad. I heard you mention a few videos ago, that the boys are neutered but that the girls aren’t spayed-not spaying them could be deadly as they could develop pyometra, an infection in their reproductive organs. This happened to me several years ago with one of my kitties. I didn’t even realize she was sick and when I did bring her to be spayed, the vet told me she had a huge cyst filled with pus in her uterus that was on the verge of bursting. Thank goodness all ended up okay. Really consider getting this done. If you’re already aware of this, I apologize. Just wanted to let you know. Here’s some information on the matter:

By far my favorite breed… and they lay such yummy eggs! Really dark, rich yolks… the RIs started out having the only rooster in the group and we had some interesting cross breeds… we got white leghorns with the green tail feathers of the Rhode Islands and the wyandottes crossed with the RI made red birds with the dottes…. It was definitely interesting… we did end up with a couple of cross bred roosters and they were pretty docile as well… thankfully they didn’t get Red's aggressive gene…. Chickens are such fun!
Have thought about getting a couple of goats? They could be your little lawn mowers lol…

just stop using those animals if you actually care about them which is really odd considering it is a farm (a big oxymoron if you ask me) just turn your farm into an animal sanctuary if you actually love those majestic and gentle creatures it doesn't have to be what you were always taught to believe it needed to be trust me people are starting to wake and more and more people are actually starting to make the change because they realized the real value of these animals and it isn't in what they can offer us
